Itel A100C

The Itel A100C has a straightforward, conventional form factor — it is neither foldable nor built to rugged standards. At 8.5 mm thick, the handset maintains a relatively slim profile without any reinforced durability features.

The Itel A100C features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a pixel density of 267 ppi, delivering reasonably sharp visuals for everyday use. The panel supports a 90Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother scrolling and on-screen motion. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, a secondary screen, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision.

The Itel A100C is powered by the Unisoc T7100 chipset, built on a 28 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 1.6 GHz and 6 x 1.2 GHz across 12 threads, supported by big.LITTLE technology and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP). The SoC includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone security, and pairs with a PowerVR GE8322 GPU clocked at 550 MHz with one execution unit, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1800 MHz and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 8GB, while cache is distributed across 128 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 1 MB L3. Geekbench 6 scores stand at 164 single-core and 725 multi-core, and the chipset carries a thermal design power of 9W.

The Itel A100C sports a single-lens 8 MP rear camera using a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and slow-motion video support. Focusing options include phase-detection autofocus and touch autofocus, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. The rear camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas, but lacks optical image stabilization, optical zoom, laser autofocus, RAW capture, 360-degree panorama, and HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. A single LED flash is present on the back, while the front camera offers 5 MP resolution without a flash, a secondary lens, or an under-display placement, and the front setup is limited to a single lens.

The Itel A100C runs Android 15, an open-source platform that brings a broad set of privacy and usability features. On the privacy side, users benefit from clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. The OS supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while productivity is aided by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, notification permissions, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. Additional capabilities include on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, app offloading, multi-user support, widgets, child lock, battery health check, and device position tracking. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Itel A100C is equipped with a 5000 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that includes a battery level indicator and comes with a charger in the box. The device does not support fast charging, wireless charging, or reverse wireless charging.

The Itel A100C includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and does not have a built-in radio. For wireless audio, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Itel A100C supports dual SIM cards and connects via LTE with download speeds up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds up to 150 Mbit/s, though 5G is not available. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and GPS, while a USB Type-C port and an external memory slot are present for wired and storage needs. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not included. The device has an accelerometer but lacks a gyroscope, compass, barometer, and infrared sensor, and there is no support for NFC, ANT+, Galileo, DLNA, HDMI output, or a built-in projector. Features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, a heart rate monitor, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a stylus are also absent.

The Itel A100C includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
