Itel A200

The Itel A200 carries a dual IP67 and IP64 rating, confirming waterproof protection against submersion as well as resistance to dust and water splashes. At just 8.3 mm thick, the chassis maintains a slim profile despite this level of protection. The device does not feature a rugged build and is not a folding design, making it a standard-form non-ruggedized handset.

The Itel A200 uses an IPS LCD panel measuring 6.75″, delivering a resolution of 720 x 1600 px at a pixel density of 260 ppi. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother motion during scrolling and everyday use, and it is touch-enabled. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision content formats. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen.

The Itel A200 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running two cores at 1.8 GHz and six at 1.6 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE technology and multithreading. It comes with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM at 1866 MHz and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum memory amount of 12 GB. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU, clocked at 850 MHz with 2 execution units and 64 shading units, backed by OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support. The SoC includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, while Geekbench 6 results stand at 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, with the chip operating at a thermal design power of 10W and featuring 1 MB of L3 cache.

The Itel A200 features a single-lens 13 MP rear camera with a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p at 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and slow-motion video support. Focusing options include phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and manual focus, while shooting controls extend to manual exposure, manual ISO, and manual white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. The rear camera supports HDR mode, burst shooting, and in-camera panoramas, but does not offer optical zoom, optical image stabilization, a back-illuminated sensor, laser autofocus, 360-degree panorama, or RAW capture. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. On the front, a 5 MP single-lens camera is included without a front-facing flash or under-display placement, and neither HDR10 nor Dolby Vision recording is supported on either camera.

The Itel A200 runs Android 15, bringing a broad set of software features covering privacy, customization, and everyday usability. On the privacy side, the device includes clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are not supported. The OS supports split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, child lock, and app offloading. Further capabilities include on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, multi-user support, battery health check, Live Text, and the ability to play games while downloading. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not available, and the device cannot be used as a PC nor does it include Quick Start.

The Itel A200 houses a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports wired fast charging at 15W, helping to reduce time spent tethered to a charger. A battery level indicator is included for monitoring charge status. The battery is not removable, and the device does not support wireless charging or reverse wireless charging.

The Itel A200 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio and features stereo speakers for built-in playback. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC codecs. There is no built-in radio tuner.

The Itel A200 supports dual SIM cards and connects via a cellular module with download speeds up to 300 MBits/s and upload speeds up to 150 MBits/s, though 5G is not supported. The device uses a USB Type-C port at USB 2.0, includes Wi-Fi, and offers an external memory slot for storage expansion. Location capabilities cover GPS and Galileo, and an accelerometer is present, while a gyroscope, compass, and barometer are absent. NFC, ANT+, infrared sensor, HDMI output, and DLNA certification are not included, nor are crash detection or emergency SOS via satellite. Biometric options such as 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available, and there is no stylus, heart rate monitor, built-in projector, or motion and optical tracking.

The Itel A200 includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
