The Itel A200 Plus carries an IP67 and IP64 rating, classifying it as waterproof and offering a meaningful degree of protection against dust and water ingress for everyday use. Its slim profile measures just 8.3 mm in thickness, keeping the handset reasonably compact despite its large form factor. The device does not feature a rugged build and is not a foldable design, positioning it as a standard candy-bar smartphone with water resistance as its notable physical distinction.

The Itel A200 Plus features a 6.75″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, delivering a reasonably detailed image across its large panel. One of its more notable display traits is the 120Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother motion during scrolling and general navigation. The screen does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality, nor does it have a secondary screen.

The Itel A200 Plus is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration comprising two cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and six at 1.6 GHz, supported by 8 threads and big.LITTLE technology for workload distribution. It carries 3GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1866 MHz and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum memory amount of 12GB. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU clocked at 850 MHz with 2 execution units and 64 shading units, supporting OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, alongside integrated graphics within the SoC. The chipset also features integrated LTE, TrustZone security, 64-bit support, multithreading, and a 1MB L3 cache, while its Thermal Design Power is rated at 10W. Geekbench 6 scores sit at 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, with Geekbench 5 returning 357 single-core and 1350 multi-core results.

The Itel A200 Plus comes with a single 13 MP rear camera using a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps, with continuous autofocus active during recording and slow-motion video support as well. Phase-detection autofocus is available for stills, complemented by touch autofocus, manual focus, and manual exposure and ISO controls, while manual white balance and burst mode round out the manual shooting options — though manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported. The rear camera includes a single LED flash and a built-in HDR mode, but lacks optical image stabilization, a dual-tone flash, a BSI sensor, laser autofocus, and optical zoom. On the front, a 5 MP camera handles selfies without a front-facing flash, and it is a single-lens unit with no under-display placement. Neither HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, 360-degree panorama, nor 3D photo and video capture are available, though standard in-camera panoramas are supported.

The Itel A200 Plus runs Android 15 and brings a broad set of privacy and usability features to the table, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access controls, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. On the customization side, it supports dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity is well covered with split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user functionality, app offloading, battery health check, child lock, and Live Text, but does not offer Wi-Fi password sharing, direct OS vendor updates, or the ability to function as a PC. The platform is noted as free and open source.

The Itel A200 Plus is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, helping to offset the time needed to top up such a large cell. A battery level indicator is included for convenient charge monitoring. The battery is non-removable, and the device does not support wireless charging or reverse wireless charging.

The Itel A200 Plus includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, covering the essentials for both wired listening and on-device audio output. However, it does not support any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent — and there is no built-in radio tuner.

The Itel A200 Plus supports dual SIM cards and connects over LTE with download speeds of up to 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. It features a USB Type-C port running on USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, GPS with Galileo support, an accelerometer, and an external memory slot for storage expansion. NFC is absent, as are a gyroscope, compass, barometer, infrared sensor, and HDMI output, and the device does not include ANT+ support, a heart rate monitor, DLNA certification, or a built-in projector. On the security and safety side, there is no 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, crash detection, or emergency SOS via satellite, and no stylus is included in the package.

The Itel A200 Plus includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate subjects during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
