Itel A200 Plus

The Itel A200 Plus carries a slim profile at just 8.3 mm thick and offers a notable level of environmental protection, holding both IP67 and IP64 ratings that certify it as waterproof against submersion and dust ingress. The device does not feature a rugged reinforced build, nor does it support any folding form factor, making it a straightforward candy-bar design focused on everyday durability through its certified water and dust resistance.

The Itel A200 Plus features a 6.75″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp image across its large panel. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother on-screen motion during everyday use. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision content. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen present on the device.

The Itel A200 Plus is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration of 2 cores at 1.8 GHz and 6 cores at 1.6 GHz, utilizing big.LITTLE technology and 8 threads for multithreaded workloads. The SoC integrates an LTE modem, TrustZone security, and a Mali G57 GPU clocked at 850 MHz with 2 execution units and 64 shading units, supporting OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device ships with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 1866 MHz and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting a maximum memory configuration of up to 12GB. It is a 64-bit system with a thermal design power of 10W and 1MB of L3 cache, and it recorded Geekbench 6 scores of 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, alongside Geekbench 5 scores of 357 single-core and 1350 multi-core.

The Itel A200 Plus is equipped with a single-lens 13 MP rear camera using a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p at 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and slow-motion video support. The main camera includes phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, HDR mode, burst mode, panorama, and a range of manual controls covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a back-illuminated sensor, laser autofocus, manual shutter speed, and the ability to shoot in RAW format. A single LED flash is present, while a dual-tone or RGB flash is not. Optical zoom is absent, and neither HDR10 nor Dolby Vision recording is supported. On the front, there is a 5 MP single-lens camera without a dedicated flash, and it is not positioned under the display. The device does not offer 3D photo or video capture, nor 360-degree panorama shooting.

The Itel A200 Plus runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user access, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, dark mode, dynamic theming, and theme customization. Privacy-oriented features include clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The OS also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text selection, full-page scrolling screenshots, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, a media picker, and a battery health check tool. Additional conveniences include an extra dim display mode, app offloading, sharing intents, a child lock, and device position tracking. Games can be played while downloading, but the device does not support Quick Start, Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, or the ability to function as a PC. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided.

The Itel A200 Plus houses a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in battery level indicator, offering a sizeable capacity for extended use. It supports 18W fast charging, though wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available. The battery is non-removable and cannot be swapped out by the user.

The Itel A200 Plus includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, covering the core audio output bases for wired listening and on-device sound. However, it does not support any high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. The device also lacks a built-in radio receiver.

The Itel A200 Plus is a dual-SIM device with a cellular module, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port, and it supports an external memory card slot for storage expansion. For positioning, it includes GPS and Galileo satellite navigation alongside an accelerometer, though it lacks a gyroscope, compass, and barometer. The device supports download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s, but does not offer 5G connectivity, NFC, or HDMI output. Features such as crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+, DLNA certification, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent. A stylus is not included with the device.

The Itel A200 Plus includes a video light, which can be used as an illumination aid during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and it uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
