The Itel BudsNeo 3 adopt a true wireless in-ear design, with no cables or neckband involved, and each earbud weighs just 7.8 grams for a light, unobtrusive fit. They include stereo speakers but come without wingtips, RGB lighting, UV light, or a display. The earbuds carry an IPX5 rating, meaning they are built to withstand water splashes, making them suitable for use in light rain or during workouts where moisture exposure is a concern.
The Itel BudsNeo 3 cover the full standard audible range, spanning from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz, and support spatial audio for a more immersive listening experience. Passive noise reduction is present, helping to block out some ambient sound through the physical seal of the in-ear fit, though active noise cancellation is not included. The earbuds do not feature Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet driver.
Each earbud houses a 40 mAh rechargeable battery delivering up to 14 hours of playback, while the 650 mAh charging case extends the total available listening time to 86 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and a battery level indicator is on hand to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar charging are not supported, so the case relies on a wired connection for replenishment.
The Itel BudsNeo 3 connect wirelessly with a maximum Bluetooth range of 10 meters and an audio latency of 60 ms, while the charging case uses USB Type-C for wired charging. Advanced audio codecs including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, aptX and all its variants, as well as Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, are not supported. NFC pairing and fast pairing are equally absent, meaning the earbuds rely on standard Bluetooth pairing to establish a connection.
The Itel BudsNeo 3 support fast charging and can function as a headset for calls, with a mute function and on-device control panel adding day-to-day practicality. Voice prompts are included to assist with navigation, and a travel bag comes in the box for portability. The earbuds carry a one-year warranty. Features not present include ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pause, a find-device function, notification readout, a built-in translator, an in-line control panel, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter.
