Itel City 100

The Itel City 100 has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 167.69 mm tall, 77.47 mm wide, and 7.65 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 99.38 cm³ and a weight of 200 g. Despite its standard build, the device carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and resistant to water splashing from any direction, which adds a practical layer of durability for everyday use.

The Itel City 100 features a 6.75-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 260 ppi, delivering a contrast ratio of 1500:1 for reasonably defined visuals. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen present.

The Itel City 100 is driven by the Unisoc T615 chipset, built on a 12 nm process and configured as an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and six at 1.6 GHz, supporting 64-bit operation, multithreading across 8 threads, and ARM's big.LITTLE architecture, with a TDP of 10W and 1 MB of L3 cache. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1866 MHz and 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 12 GB. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 GPU clocked at 850 MHz with 2 execution units and 64 shading units, supporting OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, while the SoC also includes integrated LTE and ARM TrustZone security. In benchmark testing, the device scores 308,681 on AnTuTu, 1,461 and 437 on Geekbench 6 multi- and single-core respectively, and 1,350 and 357 on Geekbench 5 multi- and single-core.

The Itel City 100 features a dual-lens rear camera system with a 13 MP CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording and slow-motion support, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a back-illuminated sensor, and optical zoom. For focusing and shooting control, the rear camera includes phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, manual focus, manual exposure, manual ISO, manual white balance, burst mode, HDR mode, and in-camera panorama, while manual shutter speed, laser autofocus, RAW capture, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D recording are not supported. A single LED flash is present on the rear — without dual-tone or RGB configuration — while the front camera offers 8 MP in a single-lens, standard placement setup with no front-facing flash.

The Itel City 100 runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, extra dim mode, customizable notifications, notification permissions, a media picker, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download, while focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and PC mode are not available. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user profiles, and battery health checking, but does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Itel City 100 is equipped with a 5200 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 18W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for at-a-glance monitoring, while wireless charging is not supported.

The Itel City 100 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio and a single microphone, but does not feature stereo speakers or a built-in radio. Bluetooth audio codec support is limited as well, with no aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC available.

The Itel City 100 supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port, though 5G, NFC, HDMI output, and an external memory slot are absent. Cellular connectivity is built in, with download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s. For location, the device includes GPS with Galileo support alongside a compass and accelerometer, while a gyroscope, barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are not present. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no 3D facial recognition or iris scanner on board, and features such as crash detection, satellite SOS, DLNA certification, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are also not included.

The Itel City 100 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
