The Itel City 200 has a non-folding, standard-build body measuring 167.6 mm tall, 78.6 mm wide, and just 7.5 mm thick, with an overall volume of 98.8002 cm³. A notable aspect of its physical design is the IP67 and IP64 dual ingress protection rating, which qualifies it as waterproof and dust-resistant under defined test conditions. It does not feature a rugged or reinforced construction beyond that rating.

The Itel City 200 features a 6.78″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1576 px and a pixel density of 256 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother on-screen motion during everyday use. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Itel City 200 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running two cores at 1.8 GHz and six cores at 1.6 GHz, supported by 6GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 1866 MHz and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 12GB. The SoC employs big.LITTLE technology, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading across 8 threads, and includes ARM TrustZone security, with a thermal design power of 10W and 1 MB of L3 cache. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 GPU running at 850 MHz, featuring 2 execution units and 64 shading units, with support for OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. Geekbench 6 scores sit at 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results are 357 single-core and 1350 multi-core. The chipset also integrates LTE directly on the SoC.

The Itel City 200 features a single-lens 50 MP rear camera with a CMOS sensor, supported by phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization and laser autofocus are not included. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, while burst mode and in-camera panorama are also available; manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported. The main camera records video at 1080p at 30 fps with slow-motion support, but HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are absent, and optical zoom stands at 0x. A single LED flash is present at the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option, and no flash on the front. The 8 MP front camera is a single-lens unit with no under-display placement and no dedicated flash, and the device does not support 360° panorama or 3D photo and video capture.

The Itel City 200 runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, and an extra dim mode. Privacy-related capabilities include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. Productivity features cover full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, Live Text selection, app offloading, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. The device also supports battery health checking, a child lock, phone position tracking, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and direct OS updates from the vendor are not available on this model.

The Itel City 200 is equipped with a 5200 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast wired charging and includes a battery level indicator. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available on this device.

The Itel City 200 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers for audio output. It does not support any high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, and there is no built-in radio on this device.

The Itel City 200 supports dual SIM cards, Wi-Fi, GPS with Galileo, and includes an accelerometer, while connectivity hardware also covers a cellular module and a USB Type-C port running at USB 2.0 speeds. Mobile data tops out at 300 Mbits/s download and 150 Mbits/s upload, and an external memory slot is available for storage expansion. The device does not support 5G or NFC, and is without a gyroscope, compass, barometer, or infrared sensor. Additional features such as a heart rate monitor, ANT+, motion tracking, optical tracking, DLNA certification, HDMI output, and a built-in projector are all absent, as are 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, and a stylus.

The Itel City 200 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
