Itel City 200

The Itel City 200 has a non-folding, standard-frame design measuring 167.6 mm tall, 78.6 mm wide, and just 7.5 mm thick, giving it a relatively slim profile for a large-screen device. It holds a total volume of 98.8 cm³ and carries an IP67 and IP64 ingress protection rating, confirming its waterproof capability against dust and water intrusion under defined conditions. The phone does not feature a rugged build, so while it offers meaningful water resistance for everyday situations, it is not designed for heavy-duty or extreme-environment use.

The Itel City 200 features a 6.78″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1576 px at 256 ppi, and a 120Hz refresh rate that contributes to smoother on-screen motion during everyday use. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, meaning color and contrast capabilities are limited to standard output. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen, keeping the panel configuration straightforward and single-sided.

The Itel City 200 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running two cores at 1.8 GHz and six at 1.6 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE technology and multithreading. It ships with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 1866 MHz and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting up to 12GB of memory in total. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU clocked at 850 MHz with 2 execution units and 64 shading units, supporting OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The SoC integrates LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, while Geekbench 6 scores land at 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, with a rated thermal design power of 10W and 1 MB of L3 cache rounding out the silicon profile.

The Itel City 200 carries a single-lens 50 MP rear camera built on a CMOS sensor, supporting phase-detection autofocus for stills, continuous autofocus during video, and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus and optical image stabilization are not present. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, slow-motion video, and in-camera panoramas are all available; manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording on offer, and a single LED flash — not dual-tone or RGB — handles low-light assistance. On the front, an 8 MP single-lens camera is fitted in a standard position above the display, without a front-facing flash or under-display placement, and 360-degree panorama and 3D photo or video recording are absent from both cameras.

The Itel City 200 runs Android 15 as a free and open-source platform, bringing a broad set of privacy and usability features to the table. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, customizable notifications, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, and Live Text are all part of the experience. Practical utilities include offline voice recognition, voice commands, a child lock, multi-user support, battery health check, app offloading, on-device machine learning, and device position tracking. The phone can play games while they are still downloading, but focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Itel City 200 is equipped with a 5200 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 18W wired fast charging, and a battery level indicator is on hand to keep the user informed of remaining charge. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available, so the device relies solely on wired power delivery.

The Itel City 200 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers for wired listening and built-in audio output. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, limiting higher-quality Bluetooth audio codec options. A built-in radio is also absent from the feature set.

The Itel City 200 is a dual-SIM 4G device — 5G is not supported — with a cellular module, Wi-Fi, and GPS with Galileo support handling the core connectivity needs. It uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and offers an external memory slot for additional storage expansion. Cellular data speeds reach up to 300 Mbit/s download and 150 Mbit/s upload, and an accelerometer is present among the onboard sensors, though a gyroscope, compass, barometer, infrared sensor, and heart rate monitor are all absent. NFC is not included, nor are ANT+, DLNA certification, HDMI output, or a built-in projector, and safety-oriented features such as crash detection and emergency SOS via satellite are not part of the specification. Biometric options like 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are also unavailable, and no stylus is included in the box.

The Itel City 200 includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel, keeping the screen technology straightforward.
