Itel Power 70

The Itel Power 70 has a standard candybar form factor — it neither folds nor carries a rugged build designation. It measures 165.92 mm tall and 77.31 mm wide, with a slim 7.9 mm thickness and a weight of 192.4 g. The device holds an IP54 rating, meaning it offers meaningful protection against dust ingress and water splashes in everyday conditions, though it is not designed for submersion.

The Itel Power 70 uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.67 inches, delivering a resolution of 720 x 1600 px at a pixel density of 263 ppi and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. A notable aspect of this panel is its 120Hz refresh rate, which enables smoother on-screen motion. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. It also lacks branded damage-resistant glass.

The Itel Power 70 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G50 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an 8-core CPU running at 4 x 2.2 GHz paired with another 4 x 2.2 GHz cluster using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, delivering 8 threads and a TDP of 2.2W. Graphics are handled by the integrated PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at 680 MHz, supporting DirectX 10, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 1.2. The device comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1600 MHz and a maximum memory bandwidth of 13.9 GB/s, alongside 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Additional hardware features include integrated LTE, 64-bit support, an NX bit for security, ARM TrustZone, and a VFP version 4 floating-point unit, while the AnTuTu benchmark score is recorded at 142,319.

The Itel Power 70 features a single-lens 13 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a CMOS sensor, capable of recording video at 1080p 30 fps as well as slow-motion footage, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a BSI sensor, and optical zoom. Autofocus options include phase-detection autofocus for stills, continuous autofocus during video recording, and touch autofocus, while laser autofocus is absent. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available, and the camera also supports burst mode, HDR, and in-camera panoramas but cannot shoot in RAW format or capture 360-degree panoramas. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. On the front, an 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies; it is a single-lens unit positioned above the display, with no front-facing flash, and HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported on either camera.

The Itel Power 70 runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, voice commands with offline voice recognition, on-device machine learning, and device tracking. Privacy controls are fairly broad, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. On the usability side, the OS offers dark mode, extra dim mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications, a media picker, full-page scrolling screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, widgets, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. Live Text for selecting text in images is also supported. Features absent from this build include focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, direct OS vendor updates, and the ability to use the device as a PC.

The Itel Power 70 is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. The battery is sealed and non-removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Itel Power 70 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio output, though it is fitted with a single speaker rather than a stereo setup. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Itel Power 70 supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0, while cellular connectivity is limited to 4G LTE with download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s — 5G is not supported. The device uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and includes an external memory card slot for storage expansion, though HDMI output is absent. For location, it features GPS with Galileo support, and an accelerometer is on board, while a gyroscope, compass, and barometer are not included. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no iris scanner or 3D facial recognition present. NFC, ANT+, infrared sensor, DLNA certification, heart rate monitor, crash detection, emergency satellite SOS, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent from this model.

The Itel Power 70 includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
