Itel RS4

The Itel RS4 has a conventional, non-folding form factor measuring 164 mm tall, 75.5 mm wide, and 8.2 mm thick, with a weight of 198 g. It does not feature a rugged build and carries no water resistance rating, so it offers no certified protection against dust or moisture exposure.

The Itel RS4 uses a 6.56″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 px and a pixel density of 269 ppi, delivering a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input handling. Typical brightness sits at 450 nits, while the panel does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. Branded damage-resistant glass is also absent, meaning the display does not carry any certified scratch or impact protection.

The Itel RS4 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G99, a 6nm octa-core SoC running at 2 x 2.2 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP), and it scores 423,702 on AnTuTu, 729 single-core and 1,979 multi-core on Geekbench 6, 10,780 on PCMark Work 3.0 performance, and 136 on 3DMark Steel Nomad. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with a turbo frequency of 2,133 MHz, 32 shading units, DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0 support across up to 2 displays. The chip integrates LTE, supports TrustZone security, and has a TDP of 5W with a maximum CPU temperature of 95 °C. Memory configuration includes 12GB of DDR4 RAM at 4,266 MHz across 2 channels delivering up to 17.1 GB/s bandwidth, paired with 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, and the system is fully 64-bit compatible.

The Itel RS4 features a dual-lens rear camera system led by a 50MP CMOS sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and a range of manual controls including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. The main camera records video at 1080p/30fps with slow-motion support, but does not offer optical image stabilization, optical zoom, HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, RAW capture, 360° panorama, or 3D photo and video capabilities; it does support standard panorama, burst mode, HDR, and timelapse. A single LED flash is fitted at the rear — not a dual-tone or RGB unit — while the front houses an 8MP single-lens camera at f/2.0 with its own LED flash, though it is not positioned under the display and does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording either.

The Itel RS4 runs Android 13 and covers a broad set of privacy and usability features, including location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, clipboard warnings, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permissions, widgets, extra dim mode, and a media picker, while focus modes, app offloading, and Quick Start are absent. Usability is further rounded out by split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, sharing intents, a child lock, multi-user support, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, on-device machine learning, phone tracking, and the ability to play games while they download — though the device cannot be used as a PC and does not receive direct OS vendor updates. Battery health check is also not included.

The Itel RS4 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low.

The Itel RS4 includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, along with a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, it does not support any high-quality Bluetooth codec — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Itel RS4 supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Bluetooth 5, and NFC, though 5G is not available and the device is limited to LTE cellular connectivity. It uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and offers download speeds of up to 650 MBits/s and upload speeds of up to 150 MBits/s, while HDMI output and DLNA certification are absent. An external memory slot is included for storage expansion. On the sensors side, the phone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, but does not include a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, or any form of motion or optical tracking. Security biometrics are limited to the fingerprint scanner — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present — and there is no stylus, crash detection, satellite SOS, ANT+ support, or built-in projector.

The Itel RS4 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
