Itel S24

The Itel S24 measures 163.5 mm tall, 75.5 mm wide, and 8.3 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 102.46 cm³ and a weight of 192 g. The phone has no water resistance rating, no rugged build, and does not fold.

The Itel S24 uses a 6.6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels at 267 ppi and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, or a secondary screen, and there is no support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision.

The Itel S24 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2 GHz and 6 x 1.8 GHz across 8 threads, using big.LITTLE and HMP technologies. It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 1800 MHz across two memory channels, a maximum memory bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s, and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Graphics are handled by the Mali G52 MC2 GPU clocked at 850 MHz with a turbo ceiling of 1000 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The chipset scores 262,145 on AnTuTu and returns Geekbench 6 results of 425 single-core and 1,262 multi-core, with a TDP of 5W, integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support.

The main camera on the Itel S24 uses a 108 MP CMOS sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and a pixel size of 0.64 µm, backed by phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and optical zoom are absent. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, and the camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, slow-motion video, and in-camera panoramas, while RAW capture, manual shutter speed, and 360-degree panorama are not available. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording support. The front camera offers 8 MP at f/2.0 and is a single-lens unit with no front-facing flash or under-display placement.

The Itel S24 runs Android 13 and includes a solid set of privacy controls covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, extra dim mode, customizable notifications, a media picker, full-page screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download, while focus modes, app offloading, and Quick Start are absent. Offline voice recognition and voice commands are supported, alongside on-device machine learning, Live Text, multi-user mode, phone tracking, and a child lock. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and a battery health check feature is not included.

The Itel S24 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 18W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, while wireless charging is not supported.

The Itel S24 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio, but does not feature stereo speakers. None of the high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Itel S24 supports dual SIM cards, Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS with Galileo, and comes with a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0. Cellular connectivity is present with download speeds of up to 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbits/s, though 5G is not supported. A fingerprint scanner and accelerometer are included, while an external memory slot adds storage flexibility. Features such as an infrared sensor, barometer, heart rate monitor, HDMI output, satellite SOS, crash detection, DLNA certification, ANT+, 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent.

The Itel S24 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device does not feature sapphire glass or an e-paper screen.
