Itel S25

The Itel S25 has a relatively slim and lightweight build, measuring 7.3 mm in thickness and weighing 185 g. It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust and water splashes, which qualifies it as water resistant for everyday situations. The device does not feature a rugged construction, nor does it support a folding form factor, placing it firmly in the conventional slab-style smartphone category.

The Itel S25 features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 px and a pixel density of 393 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a notably high 1500Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1200 nits. Branded damage-resistant glass is included for added protection, and the Always-On Display function is supported. The screen does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen on this device.

The Itel S25 is powered by the Unisoc T620 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU running at 8 x 1.77 GHz alongside 8GB of RAM, providing a solid foundation for everyday tasks and multitasking. Internal storage stands at 128GB, offering a reasonable amount of space for apps, media, and files. The device records an AnTuTu benchmark score of 328,000, which gives a concrete indication of its overall processing and graphics performance.

The Itel S25 comes with a dual-lens rear camera system led by a 50MP main sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, a pixel size of 0.64 µm, and a CMOS sensor configuration. It supports phase-detection autofocus for photos, continuous autofocus during video recording, and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is not present. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, panorama, slow-motion video, and timelapse are all available shooting options. Video recording reaches 1440p at 30fps, but optical image stabilization is absent, and there is no optical zoom. A single LED flash is included on the rear, while the front camera offers 32MP resolution with an f/2.2 aperture and no front-facing flash. The front camera is a single-lens setup and is not positioned under the display. RAW capture, manual shutter speed, 360° panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D photo or video capabilities are not supported on this device.

The Itel S25 runs Android 14 and ships with a broad set of software features covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it includes clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, and customizable notifications round out the day-to-day usability features. It also offers full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. On-device machine learning is present, and the device supports offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, and multi-user accounts. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, app offloading, direct OS vendor updates, and Quick Start are not supported, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Itel S25 is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, allowing the device to top up at a reasonably brisk pace. A battery level indicator is included as standard. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported on this model.

The Itel S25 includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, covering the basics for both wired listening and built-in audio output. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, meaning higher-quality Bluetooth audio codec options are not available.

The Itel S25 supports dual SIM cards and connects via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port running on USB 2.0. NFC is included, along with GPS and Galileo for satellite-based positioning, and a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication. The device has a cellular module and an accelerometer, but does not support 5G, leaving it to operate on sub-5G networks only. Security and recognition features are limited to the fingerprint scanner, as 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are both absent. The device lacks an infrared sensor, HDMI output, barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, and a built-in projector, and no stylus is included. Emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, and motion or optical tracking are also not available on this model.

The Itel S25 includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate subjects during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper display is featured on this device.
