It carries an IP64 ingress protection rating, meaning it is rated to resist dust ingress and water splashes from multiple directions, though it does not carry a rugged-grade build designation. With a total volume of approximately 86.56 cm³, the overall chassis remains compact without venturing into reinforced or hardened territory.

The Itel S25 Ultra features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1080 x 2436 px resolution and a pixel density of 393 ppi, producing a sharp and detailed image across its single panel — there is no secondary screen. Brightness reaches a typical 1000 nits, and the display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a notably high 1500Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and supports an Always-On Display mode, though it does not offer HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision playback.

The Itel S25 Ultra is powered by the Unisoc T620 chipset, which features an octa-core CPU running at 8 x 1.9 GHz and supports 64-bit processing. It is paired with 8GB of RAM operating at 1866 MHz, alongside 512GB of internal storage for ample on-device space. The platform achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 328,002, giving a measurable indication of its overall processing and graphics throughput.

The Itel S25 Ultra sports a multi-lens rear camera system led by a 50MP CMOS sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a pixel size of 0.64 µm, capable of recording video at 1440 x 30fps, though it lacks optical image stabilization and optical zoom. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, while a single LED flash is on hand for low-light shooting — there is no dual-tone or RGB flash. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and the camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, panoramas, slow-motion video, and timelapse, though it does not shoot in RAW format, nor does it support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. On the front, a 32MP single-lens camera sits behind an f/2.0 aperture without an under-display placement or a dedicated flash, and the front camera setup does not extend to a dual-lens configuration.

The Itel S25 Ultra runs Android 14 and brings a broad set of software features covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though it does not include Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, or Wi-Fi password sharing. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, and sharing intents, while games can be played during downloads. It also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, an extra dim mode, a battery health check, a child lock, multi-user support, and device position tracking. Focus modes, app offloading, Quick Start, and direct OS vendor updates are not available on this device.

The Itel S25 Ultra is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that is sealed and non-removable. It supports 18W fast charging, though wireless charging is not available. A battery level indicator is built in, keeping the user informed of remaining charge at a glance.

The Itel S25 Ultra includes stereo speakers for audio output but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack, so wired headphones require an adapter or a USB-C solution. On the wireless audio side, the device does not support any high-resolution or enhanced Bluetooth codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Itel S25 Ultra supports 4G cellular connectivity — there is no 5G — and accommodates two SIM cards alongside an external memory slot for expandable storage. It connects via USB Type-C (USB 2.0) and offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, with NFC also on board for short-range data exchange. Download and upload speeds reach up to 300 Mbits/s and 150 Mbits/s respectively. Location is handled by GPS with Galileo support, and an accelerometer is present, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, motion tracking, and optical tracking are all absent. Security relies on a fingerprint scanner, as the device does not feature 3D facial recognition or an iris scanner, and there is no stylus included, no HDMI output, no DLNA certification, no ANT+ support, no crash detection, and no emergency SOS via satellite.

The Itel S25 Ultra features a curved display and includes a video light for use during video recording. The screen uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
