The Itel VistaTab 30 weighs 550 grams, which is a fairly standard weight for a tablet of its size. It does not include a stylus, a detachable keyboard, or a backlit keyboard, keeping its physical design relatively minimal. The tablet offers no water resistance, so it should be kept away from liquids, and it does not support pen tilt sensitivity.
The Itel VistaTab 30 features an 11-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and a pixel density of 206 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp image for its class. Typical brightness is rated at 450 nits, and the panel offers a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an anti-reflection coating, or sapphire glass, and it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, nor is it an e-paper panel.
The Itel VistaTab 30 is driven by the Unisoc T606 chipset, built on a 12nm process with an octa-core CPU running at 1.6 GHz across all eight threads, supported by big.LITTLE and HMP scheduling, and a 10W TDP. It comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 1600 MHz, 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, and an external memory slot for further expansion, with the maximum supported memory amount reaching 14GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 MP1 GPU, featuring 64 shading units, one execution unit, and a clock speed of 650 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chipset also includes integrated LTE and ARM TrustZone security, and the device runs Android 13 with 64-bit support. In benchmarks, the tablet scores 1391 in Geekbench 6 multi-core and 371 in single-core, while PassMark results come in at 2663 multi-core and 988 single-core, with Geekbench 5 recording 1175 and 313 respectively.
The Itel VistaTab 30 includes an 8MP rear camera with a CMOS sensor capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps, supported by continuous autofocus during recording, touch autofocus, a video light, and a single LED flash, though optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and a back-illuminated sensor are not present. Manual controls cover ISO, focus, exposure, and white balance, while HDR mode is available, but manual shutter speed, burst mode, and in-camera panorama shooting are not supported; HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are likewise absent. On the front, there is a 5MP camera without a dedicated flash. Neither 360-degree panorama nor 3D photo and video recording capabilities are included.
The Itel VistaTab 30 is equipped with stereo speakers for built-in audio output, but it does not include a radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options are supported, meaning aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.
The Itel VistaTab 30 houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in battery level indicator, giving users a clear view of remaining charge at any time. The battery is non-removable, and neither fast charging nor wireless charging are supported, so the device relies on standard wired charging only.
The Itel VistaTab 30 supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) alongside Bluetooth 5, and includes a cellular module with a single SIM slot offering download speeds up to 300 MBits/s and upload speeds up to 100 MBits/s, though 5G is not supported. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, while HDMI output and Ethernet are absent. For location, the tablet features GPS with Galileo support and mobile device position tracking, but lacks a gyroscope, compass, and barometer; the accelerometer is present. On the software side, the device offers a range of privacy controls including location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and direct OS vendor updates are not available. Multi-user support, split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, extra dim mode, full-page screenshots, a media picker, widgets, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while downloading are all included, while focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are not. The tablet also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, sharing intents, and Live Text, and includes a child lock; however, NFC, a fingerprint scanner, 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, an infrared sensor, a built-in projector, and a battery health check are all absent.
The Itel VistaTab 30 uses DDR4 memory and recorded Geekbench 5 scores of 1175 in the multi-core test and 313 in the single-core test, providing a reference point for its general processing performance under that benchmark.
