Itel Zeno 5G

The Itel Zeno 5G has a conventional, non-folding form factor measuring 166 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and just 7.8 mm thick, with a total weight of 188 g that keeps it manageable for everyday handling. It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it holds up against dust ingress and low-pressure water splashes from any direction, though it is not designed as a rugged device and lacks a hardened build for more demanding conditions.

The Itel Zeno 5G uses a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 px, translating to a pixel density of 265 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, backed by a 240Hz touch sampling rate that keeps input response feeling prompt. The display does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On mode, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Itel Zeno 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6 nm octa-core chip configured with 2 cores running at 2.4 GHz and 6 cores at 2 GHz, supporting 8 threads, multithreading, big.LITTLE technology, and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing for balanced workload distribution. It is paired with 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz — with a maximum supported memory amount of 12 GB — and 128 GB of internal storage, while the memory subsystem delivers up to 17.07 GB/s of bandwidth across L1 (512 KB), L2 (1 MB), and L3 (2 MB) cache layers. Graphics are handled by the integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with DirectX 12 support, and the chip also integrates LTE and is 64-bit capable. Geekbench 6 scores come in at 782 single-core and 2012 multi-core.

The Itel Zeno 5G features a single-lens 50 MP rear camera with an f/1.6 aperture and a CMOS sensor, supported by phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization and laser autofocus are absent. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, slow-motion video, panorama, and timelapse round out the shooting options — though RAW capture, manual shutter speed, and 360° panorama are not available. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no support for HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, and the dual LED flash is standard rather than dual-tone or RGB. On the front, an 8 MP single-lens camera handles selfies without a dedicated flash or an under-display placement.

The Itel Zeno 5G runs Android 14, an open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy is addressed through location controls, camera and microphone access management, clipboard warnings, and app tracking prevention, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. Personalization options span dark mode, dynamic theming, and theme customization, while practical tools such as full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, Live Text, extra dim mode, battery health check, child lock, and offline voice recognition with voice commands add everyday utility. OS updates do not come directly from the vendor, and features like focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, and PC mode are absent.

The Itel Zeno 5G houses a non-removable 5000 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in level indicator, and it supports fast charging at 10W via cable. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available.

The Itel Zeno 5G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio, but it does not feature stereo speakers, meaning audio output is handled by a single speaker. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported, and there is no built-in radio tuner.

The Itel Zeno 5G supports 5G cellular connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and accommodates two SIM cards with a maximum download speed of 3300 Mbit/s. Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC are both present, and the device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with an external memory slot available for additional storage. Location is handled by GPS, and an accelerometer is included among the sensors, while a fingerprint scanner serves as the primary biometric method — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not supported. Features such as a gyroscope, compass, barometer, infrared sensor, ANT+, heart rate monitor, HDMI output, satellite SOS, crash detection, DLNA certification, motion or optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent.

The Itel Zeno 5G includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while the display is flat and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
