The JLab JBuds ANC 3 are true wireless in-ear earbuds weighing 9.6 g, with an IP55 rating that provides resistance to sweat and dust. They feature stereo speakers and a fully cable-free design, with no neckband, wingtips, RGB lighting, UV light, or onboard display.
The JBuds ANC 3 use a 10mm driver unit covering a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, with an impedance of 32 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 105 dB/mW. Both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise isolation are present, giving the earbuds two approaches to reducing unwanted ambient sound. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and a neodymium magnet are not included.
The JBuds ANC 3 have a 43 mAh rechargeable battery that delivers up to 9 hours of playback without ANC, or 5 hours with ANC active. The 500 mAh charging case extends total listening time to 33 hours, and a full charge takes 1.5 hours via USB-C with fast charging support. A battery level indicator is included, while wireless charging and solar power are not available.
The JBuds ANC 3 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2 with a maximum range of 10 m and support fast pairing for quicker device setup. USB-C is used for charging, and the earbuds can be used wirelessly without any cable. Advanced audio codecs including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are not supported, and neither Auracast nor NFC pairing are available.
The JBuds ANC 3 include an ambient sound mode, a mute function, voice prompts, and on-device controls, and they can be used as a headset for calls. Multipoint connectivity supports up to two devices simultaneously, and fast charging is available for quick top-ups. A travel bag is included in the box, and the earbuds come with a 2-year warranty. In/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are all absent.
The JBuds ANC 3 are equipped with a six-microphone array that includes noise-canceling microphone technology, aimed at improving voice clarity during calls by reducing background noise pickup.
