The JMGO O3 uses a laser light source and draws 65W during operation, placing it in a reasonably efficient range for its class. Its physical footprint measures 250 mm wide, 219 mm deep, and 207 mm tall, with a total volume of 11,333.25 cm³ and a weight of 2,400 g, making it a moderately compact unit. A dedicated smartphone app is available for control and management, and the projector ships with a one-year warranty.
The JMGO O3 outputs at 1080p resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, and can project an image up to 100″ in size from a minimum throw distance of just 0.36 m. It supports HDR10 for improved contrast and color depth, though HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG are not supported.
The JMGO O3 provides two HDMI ports and one USB port for wired connections, while wireless options are broad, covering Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) alongside backward-compatible Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 4. Built-in Bluetooth is included, and the unit supports AirPlay, Chromecast, Miracast, and is DLNA-certified, offering a range of streaming and screen-mirroring methods. There is no RJ45 port for a wired network connection, and VGA, DVI, and S/PDIF outputs are absent.
The JMGO O3 includes a built-in stereo speaker system rated at 2 x 10W with Dolby Atmos support, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack is available for wired audio output. A built-in smart TV platform and voice command support are on board, and a sleep timer adds a basic convenience feature for everyday use. Neither vertical nor horizontal lens shift is available, and there is no external memory slot, so storage expansion through a card reader is not an option.
