The JMGO P5X has a compact physical footprint, measuring 240 mm in height with a width and thickness of 80 mm each, giving it a total volume of 1536 cm³. It weighs 730 g, making it reasonably portable for a projector in its category. It does not use a laser light source, relying instead on a conventional lamp. The unit comes with a dedicated smartphone app for added control convenience, though it does not carry an external memory slot or extended warranty — the covered period stands at 1 year.
The JMGO P5X delivers a 1080p output resolution and can project images up to 180″, with a minimum throw distance of 1 m. It supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ for improved contrast and color depth, though Dolby Vision is not supported. The projector is also capable of displaying 3D content when used with compatible glasses.
The JMGO P5X offers a broad set of wireless and wired connectivity options. On the wireless side, it supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), alongside Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Miracast, and DLNA certification. For wired connections, it includes one HDMI port and one USB 2.0 port, while there is no RJ45 ethernet port, no VGA connector, no DVI connector, and no S/PDIF output.
The JMGO P5X includes built-in stereo speakers rated at 2 x 4W, a 3.5 mm headphone jack for external audio output, and a sleep timer, though Dolby Atmos is not supported. It features built-in smart TV functionality along with voice command support and a remote control for day-to-day operation. Neither vertical nor horizontal lens shift is available, and there is no external memory slot. The projector does not offer lens shift adjustments of any kind.
