The JVC HA-NP1T adopts an open-ear fit and a fully wireless design with no cables or neckband, keeping the form factor light and unobtrusive at just 9.7 g. Stereo speakers are built in, while wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display are all absent from the design. For durability during physical activity, the earbuds carry an IPX4 rating, making them resistant to sweat.
The JVC HA-NP1T uses a 10 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz at an impedance of 18 Ohms. The earbuds do not include active noise cancellation, passive noise reduction, or a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo.
The JVC HA-NP1T is equipped with a rechargeable battery that delivers 8 hours of playback, with the charging case contributing an additional 16 hours for a combined total of 24 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery functionality are not supported.
The JVC HA-NP1T connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 m, and charges through a USB Type-C port. The earbuds do not support fast pairing or NFC pairing, and advanced audio codecs including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice are all absent. Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast are likewise not featured.
The JVC HA-NP1T supports fast charging and can function as a headset, complete with a mute function and voice prompts for hands-free convenience. Controls are handled through a panel placed on the device itself, and a travel bag is included in the package. The earbuds do not offer ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a body temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
