Lava Agni 3 5G

The Lava Agni 3 5G has a standard, non-folding form factor measuring 163.7 mm tall, 75.5 mm wide, and 8.8 mm thick, with a total volume of 108.76 cm³ and a weight of 212 g. It carries an IP64 ingress protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Lava Agni 3 5G features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1200 x 2652 px and a pixel density of 429 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion. The display supports Always-On functionality and is complemented by a secondary screen with a resolution of 336 x 480 px. However, it does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported.

The Lava Agni 3 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU running at 4 x 2.5 GHz and 4 x 2 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE architecture and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP). It comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz and 256 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 16 GB. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G615 MC2 GPU, which supports DirectX 12 and up to two displays simultaneously. The SoC also includes integrated LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and the platform is compatible with the DDR5 memory standard.

The Lava Agni 3 5G sports a triple rear camera system with 50 MP, 8 MP, and 8 MP sensors, featuring a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and 3x optical zoom. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus for photos, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 30 fps, slow-motion video, and includes a dual LED flash, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed is not supported. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst mode, panorama, and timelapse. On the front, a 16 MP single-lens camera with an f/2 aperture is present without a front-facing flash or under-display placement, and 3D photo or video capture is not supported.

The Lava Agni 3 5G runs Android 14, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user access, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, and sharing intents. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. Personalization options cover dark mode, dynamic theming, and theme customization, while productivity tools include full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, battery health check, an extra dim mode, and a child lock. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not available, and focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are not supported.

The Lava Agni 3 5G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that is non-removable and includes a battery level indicator. It supports 66W wired fast charging, allowing for quicker top-ups, though wireless charging is not available.

The Lava Agni 3 5G includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, it does not support aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC, meaning high-resolution and enhanced Bluetooth audio codecs are unavailable.

The Lava Agni 3 5G supports 5G cellular connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, while wireless options include Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 6E alongside Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. The device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, but lacks an external memory slot, HDMI output, and DLNA certification. For navigation and sensing, it includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, though a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are absent. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. The Lava Agni 3 5G features a curved display and includes a video light, while it does not use sapphire glass for the screen and lacks an e-paper display.
