Lava Blaze Curve 5G

The Lava Blaze Curve 5G measures 161.8mm tall, 74mm wide, and 8.8mm thick, with a weight of 189g and a total volume of 105.36 cm³. The phone does not offer water resistance of any kind, nor does it feature a rugged build or a foldable form factor.

The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 395 ppi, running at a 120Hz refresh rate with a typical brightness of 500 nits. It supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ for enhanced contrast and color depth in compatible content, and an Always-On Display mode is available for persistent at-a-glance information. Dolby Vision is not supported, there is no secondary screen, and the panel does not feature branded damage-resistant glass.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050, a 6nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 2.6GHz and 6 x 2GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP architecture, paired with a Mali G68 MP4 GPU clocked at 950MHz with a turbo of 900MHz and 64 shading units across 4 execution units. It comes with 8GB of DDR5 RAM at 3200MHz across 4 memory channels and 256GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 16GB. The chipset achieves a Geekbench 6 single-core score of 936 and a multi-core score of 2257, and supports 64-bit processing, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2, multithreading, integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and NX bit protection, with a 5W TDP and 2MB of L3 cache.

The rear camera is a triple-lens system with sensors at 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP, using CMOS technology and supporting phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording. Video capture reaches up to 2160p at 30fps, with slow-motion and timelapse modes also available, though HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and optical image stabilization are absent. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while optical zoom, manual shutter speed, RAW output, laser autofocus, and 360-degree panorama are not supported; standard panorama and burst shooting are included. A single LED flash is present with no dual-tone or RGB option. The 32MP front camera is a single-lens setup without a front flash or under-display positioning.

The phone ships with Android 13 and includes a solid range of privacy features such as location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Customization options cover dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are unavailable. On the productivity side, the software supports split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while downloading. Offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, multi-user support, child lock, and phone tracking are all included, though battery health check, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and direct OS vendor updates are absent.

The phone houses a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery with support for 33W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is built in, while wireless charging and a removable battery are not available.

The phone features stereo speakers and an integrated radio, but does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack. Advanced wireless audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC — are all absent, limiting high-resolution wireless audio options.

The phone supports 5G connectivity with download speeds of up to 2770 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 1250 Mbits/s, alongside Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual SIM card slots. The phone features a curved display and a video light for low-light recording assistance. Sapphire glass and an e-paper display are not part of the design.
