The tablet carries a water-resistant rating, offering a degree of protection against moisture exposure. It does not include a stylus, a detachable keyboard, or backlit keyboard support, and tilt sensitivity is absent as well.
The Lenovo Tab Plus features an 11.5″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 px and a pixel density of 203 ppi, paired with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an anti-reflection coating, or sapphire glass, and it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision. It is also not an e-paper panel.
The Lenovo Tab Plus is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.2 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz across 8 threads, supported by big.LITTLE and HMP scheduling, and a TDP of 5W with a maximum operating temperature of 95°C. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM running at 4266 MHz across two memory channels, offering a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s and support for up to 12GB, alongside 256GB of eMMC 5.2 internal storage that can be expanded via an external memory slot. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with a turbo of 2133 MHz, 32 shading units, support for up to two displays, DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chipset also includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, while the tablet ships with Android 14 and posts Geekbench 6 scores of 729 single-core and 1979 multi-core.
The Lenovo Tab Plus includes an 8 MP rear camera with a CMOS sensor, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video recording, and manual controls for focus, exposure, ISO, and white balance, though it lacks a flash, optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and a back-illuminated sensor. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no support for slow-motion, HDR10, or Dolby Vision recording. The front-facing camera also offers 8 MP resolution but has no LED flash. Features such as panorama, 360° panorama, timelapse, burst mode, 3D recording, and manual shutter speed control are not available on either camera.
The Lenovo Tab Plus features stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, covering the essentials for both built-in and wired audio output. It does not include a radio, and Bluetooth audio codec support is limited — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.
The Lenovo Tab Plus is equipped with an 8600 mAh rechargeable battery that supports fast charging, and a battery level indicator is present to keep track of remaining charge. Wireless charging is not supported, and the battery is not user-removable.
The Lenovo Tab Plus connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5 with download and upload speeds of up to 650 Mbits/s and 150 Mbits/s respectively, and uses Bluetooth 5.2, while cellular connectivity, 5G, GPS, NFC, HDMI output, Ethernet, and a compass are all absent. Wired connection is handled through a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and the tablet supports 45W charging. On the software and features side, it supports split screen, Picture-in-Picture, dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, full-page screenshots, a media picker, notification controls and customization, clipboard warnings, sharing intents, child lock, multi-user support, device tracking, battery health check, extra dim mode, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and the ability to play games while downloading. Privacy options include location controls, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. Sensors include a gyroscope and accelerometer, while a barometer, compass, infrared sensor, fingerprint scanner, iris scanner, and 3D facial recognition are not present. Features such as Quick Start, focus modes, app offloading, direct OS vendor updates, and a built-in projector are also not supported.
