The Lenovo ThinkPlus LP70 Pro adopt a standard earbud fit and operate as fully true wireless earbuds, meaning there are no cables or neckbands involved. Wingtips are not included, and the design skips RGB lighting and UV light features, keeping the aesthetic straightforward. Notably, the case is equipped with a display, allowing users to check status at a glance, and the earbuds support stereo sound output for a balanced listening experience.
The LP70 Pro uses a 13 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full standard range of human hearing. The earbuds support spatial audio, adding a sense of dimensional depth to playback. Neither active noise cancellation nor passive noise reduction is present, and the drivers do not use a neodymium magnet. Audio enhancements such as Dolby Atmos and Dirac Virtuo are also not supported.
The LP70 Pro earbuds carry a 30 mAh rechargeable battery rated for 8 hours of playback, while the 500 mAh charging case extends the total available listening time to 22 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is on hand to help track remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery options are not available, so recharging is handled exclusively through a wired connection.
The LP70 Pro connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and the charging case uses a USB Type-C port. Fast pairing, NFC pairing, and Auracast are not supported, nor is Bluetooth LE Audio. On the codec side, the earbuds do not support LDAC, LDHC, AAC, or any variant of aptX, including aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice, meaning audio is transmitted over a standard Bluetooth connection without any high-resolution or low-latency codec enhancements.
The LP70 Pro supports fast charging and can function as a headset, making it suitable for calls alongside general listening. A mute function is built in, and voice prompts guide users through device interactions, while controls are handled via a panel placed on the device itself rather than an in-line cable control. A travel bag is included in the box for portability. Ambient sound mode, in-ear detection for auto-pause, and notification reading are not available, and there is no body temperature sensor or built-in camera remote function.
The LP70 Pro is equipped with two microphones, and at least one of them features noise-canceling capability, helping to reduce unwanted background sound during calls or voice interactions.
