The Lenovo Xiaoxin 100M has a relatively compact footprint, measuring 126 mm wide, 191 mm tall, and 144 mm thick, with a total volume of 3465.504 cm³ and a weight of 800 g, making it easy to reposition around a room. It relies on a traditional lamp light source rather than a laser. A dedicated smartphone app is available, giving users an additional way to interact with and control the projector beyond its physical controls and remote.
The Xiaoxin 100M projects at a native 1080p resolution and can fill a screen up to 100 inches, with a minimum throw distance of 1.1 m. Brightness is rated at 400 ANSI lumens, and the projector supports HDR10 for improved contrast and color depth in compatible content. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are not supported.
Wireless connectivity is well covered, with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast, and Miracast, allowing content to be streamed or cast from a wide range of devices without cables. On the wired side, the picture is more limited — there is no VGA connector, no DVI connector, no S/PDIF output, and no Ethernet port, meaning all network and audio routing must be handled wirelessly or through other available outputs.
The Xiaoxin 100M includes built-in stereo speakers with a combined output of 2 x 3W, along with a 3.5 mm headset jack for routing audio to external headphones or speakers. A built-in smart TV platform is on board, removing the need for an external streaming device, and a remote control is included for standard navigation. Voice commands are not supported, and there is no external memory slot for expanding local storage.
