The Luminkey Magger68 Plus HE is a mechanical gaming keyboard in a compact 65% layout with a standard profile, connecting to a system via USB with a detachable cable. It operates at an 8000 Hz polling rate and uses a plate-mount construction, sitting at 319 mm wide, 110 mm deep, and 30 mm thick, with a weight of 1200 g. The keyboard is not designed for Mac and comes with a one-year warranty.
The keyboard features a case constructed from plastic and aluminum with an aluminum plate, available in either black or white. It includes RGB backlighting with a north-facing LED direction, which affects how light interacts with keycap legends. Adjustable feet are included to modify the typing angle, though no wrist rest is bundled with the board.
This keyboard is equipped with Gateron Magnetic White Max switches, a Hall effect design that delivers a linear feel with a light actuation force of 30 g. The actuation point is adjustable anywhere between 0.1 mm and 3.5 mm, with a total travel distance of 3.5 mm. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing them to be replaced without soldering.
The keyboard supports rapid trigger, dual actuation, and adjustable actuation, giving users precise control over how and when each keypress registers. Analog input and N-key rollover are also included, ensuring every simultaneous keystroke is recognized without conflict. On the other hand, the board does not offer USB passthrough, an onboard display, or support for QMK, ZMK, or VIA firmware.
The keyboard uses an ANSI (United States) layout with a standard key arrangement and OEM-profile keycaps made from double-shot PBT material. Media functions are accessible via the Fn key rather than dedicated keys, and there is no rotary dial included.
