The Magcubic HY300 Pro has a weight of 750 g, keeping it reasonably portable for a projector in its class. It does not use a laser light source, relying instead on a conventional lamp. When operating in eco mode, the unit produces 25 dB of audible noise, which is relatively unobtrusive during quieter viewing environments.
The HY300 Pro delivers a 720p output resolution at 260 ANSI lumens and can project an image up to 130 inches in size, with a minimum throw distance of 1.6 m. Focus is adjusted manually, as the projector does not include motorized focus or motorized zoom. On the image format side, it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or HLG, so playback is limited to standard dynamic range content.
The HY300 Pro offers a solid set of wireless connectivity options, including AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Miracast, and DLNA certification, covering most common screen-sharing and media-streaming scenarios. Wi-Fi support spans three standards — Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) — while Bluetooth 5 handles wireless audio and peripheral pairing. For wired connections, there is one HDMI port and one USB port; there is no RJ45 Ethernet port, no VGA connector, no DVI connector, and no S/PDIF output.
The HY300 Pro includes built-in smart TV functionality and comes with a remote control, making it straightforward to navigate content without additional hardware. Its built-in speaker delivers 2 x 2.5W of audio output, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack is available for private listening; however, the speaker configuration is mono rather than stereo, and Dolby Atmos is not supported. A sleep timer is on board for convenience, while vertical and horizontal lens shift are both absent, and there is no external memory slot or voice command functionality.
