The Mivi DuoPods Maxx use an in-ear fit and operate as fully true wireless earbuds with no cables or neckband involved. They carry an IPX4 ingress protection rating, making them resistant to sweat during physical activity. The earbuds feature stereo speakers but do not include wingtips for additional ear stability, nor do they have RGB lighting, a UV light, or any built-in display.
The Mivi DuoPods Maxx are equipped with a 13 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full standard audible spectrum. They rely on passive noise reduction to limit ambient sound rather than active noise cancellation, which is not supported. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo audio processing.
The Mivi DuoPods Maxx offer 8.5 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case extending total playback to 76.6 hours before needing a recharge. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds feature a battery level indicator so users can keep track of remaining power. The battery is rechargeable, though wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Mivi DuoPods Maxx connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 metres, and the charging case uses a USB Type-C port for wired charging. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are not supported, and the earbuds do not carry any aptX variants, LDAC, LDHC, AAC, LE Audio, or Auracast — meaning audio transmission relies on the standard Bluetooth codec without any high-resolution or low-latency audio extensions.
The Mivi DuoPods Maxx support fast charging and can function as a headset for calls, with a mute function and voice prompts built in for added convenience during use. Controls are handled via a panel placed on the device itself, while an in-line control panel is not included. A travel bag is included in the box, and the earbuds come with a one-year warranty. Features such as ambient sound mode, in-ear detection, a find-device function, notification reading, a built-in translator, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter are not part of the feature set.
The Mivi DuoPods Maxx feature a quad-microphone setup with noise cancellation built into the microphone array, helping to reduce background noise during calls and voice interactions.
