The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate alongside a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. HDR10 and HDR10+ are both supported, while Dolby Vision is not, and an Always-On Display mode is available; the device does not include a secondary screen.

The Edge 50 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with a CPU configuration of 1 x 2.63 GHz, 3 x 2.4 GHz, and 4 x 1.8 GHz cores using big.LITTLE technology and multithreading support, all within a 6W TDP envelope. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 720 GPU running at 950 MHz, with support for DirectX 12 and OpenGL ES 3.2, and the chip also integrates LTE and TrustZone security. The Edge 50 Pro features a triple rear camera system with CMOS sensors at 50MP (f/1.4), 13MP (f/2.2), and 10MP (f/2.0), supported by optical image stabilization, 3x optical zoom, and a combination of laser autofocus, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available, and shooting options include RAW capture, HDR mode, burst mode, panorama, timelapse, and slow-motion video; 360° panorama and 3D recording are not supported. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30fps with HDR10 recording supported, while Dolby Vision recording is not. A single LED flash is present — neither dual-tone nor RGB — and there is no front-facing flash. The 50MP front camera sits at f/1.9 and is a single-lens setup, not positioned under the display, offering a capable selfie option without a secondary lens.

The Edge 50 Pro runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management; however, Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. App tracking can be blocked, and the system supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications with notification permission controls, while focus modes and app offloading are not supported. Productivity features encompass split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, the ability to function as a PC, and the option to play games while they download. The device also supports multi-user accounts, a child lock, phone tracking, and battery health monitoring; direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and Quick Start is absent.

The Edge 50 Pro houses a 4500 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator, though it is not removable.
