The device does not feature a rugged build, so while water resistance is well-covered, it is not designed to meet additional durability standards beyond that certification.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, delivering sharp and vibrant visuals. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion, along with both HDR10 and HDR10+ for a wider range of brightness and color detail in compatible content. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i for damage resistance and includes an Always-On Display for at-a-glance information without fully waking the screen. Dolby Vision is not supported, and there is no secondary screen on this device.

Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 810 GPU clocked at 1050 MHz, featuring 128 shading units and support for DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s. Wired fast charging is supported at 68W, and wireless charging is also available at 15W, offering a convenient cable-free option. Reverse wireless charging, however, is not included, so the device cannot be used to wirelessly charge other accessories.

Security biometrics are limited to the fingerprint scanner, as 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present, and neither a stylus nor crash detection or satellite SOS functionality is included.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not protected by sapphire glass.
