The Motorola Moto G15 Power has a conventional, non-folding form factor with dimensions of 165.7 x 76 x 8.8 mm and a total volume of 110.82 cm³. It weighs 203 g and carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. While this qualifies it as water resistant, it does not feature a rugged build designed for harsher conditions.

The Moto G15 Power features a 6.72″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 392 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image across its large panel. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, adding a layer of resistance against everyday scratches and minor impacts. It does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Moto G15 Power is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, a 12 nm octa-core chipset with a big.LITTLE configuration running two cores at 2 GHz and six cores at 1.8 GHz, with a turbo clock of 2 GHz and a TDP of 5W. It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 1800 MHz across two memory channels, offering a maximum memory bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s, alongside 512GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The chip includes integrated Mali G52 MP2 graphics with 2 execution units, 32 shading units, and a GPU turbo frequency of 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The SoC also integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and includes ARM TrustZone security technology. In benchmarks, the chipset scores 420 single-core and 1391 multi-core on Geekbench 6, and 350 single-core and 1300 multi-core on Geekbench 5, with an AnTuTu score of 262,000. Cache configuration consists of 0.3 MB of L2 and 1 MB of L3, and the chip is built from approximately 5,500 million transistors.

The Moto G15 Power has a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50 MP primary lens at f/1.8 and a 5 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using CMOS sensors without back-side illumination. Autofocus is handled via phase detection and touch autofocus, with continuous autofocus available during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. The main camera captures video at up to 1080p at 30 fps and supports slow-motion recording, but does not offer optical image stabilization, optical zoom, or HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording. For stills, it includes HDR mode, burst shooting, timelapse, panorama, and a range of manual controls covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while RAW capture and manual shutter speed are not supported. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. The 8 MP front camera sits at f/2.0, is mounted in the standard position above the display, and operates without a front-facing flash or a secondary lens alongside it.

The Moto G15 Power ships with Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, voice commands with offline voice recognition, on-device machine learning, and device tracking. On the privacy front, users have access to location controls, camera and microphone permission management, clipboard warnings, and app tracking restrictions, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. The interface supports dynamic and manual theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications with a media picker, widgets, and split-screen multitasking. Additional productivity features include Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, Live Text selection, sharing intents, the ability to offload unused apps, and the option to play games while they download. A child lock and battery health check are also available. Notably, the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, and focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are absent.

The Moto G15 Power houses a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, though the charger is not included in the box. The battery is non-removable and does not support wireless charging. A battery level indicator is present, and the device also offers an ultra power-saving mode that can help extend usage when the charge is running low.

The Moto G15 Power includes stereo speakers and retains a 3.5 mm headphone jack, along with a built-in radio. For wireless audio, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Moto G15 Power supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, though 5G is not available. Wired connectivity is handled through a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, and there is no HDMI output. Cellular download speeds reach up to 300 Mbit/s with upload speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s. The device includes a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, but does not offer 3D facial recognition or an iris scanner. Location and motion sensing is covered by GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are not present. External storage can be added via the dedicated memory card slot, and no stylus or built-in projector is included.

The Moto G15 Power includes a video light to assist with illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not protected by sapphire glass.
