The Moto G96 5G is equipped with a 5500 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 30W fast charging, and a battery level indicator is included. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The Moto G96 5G includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.
