The Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 px at 450 ppi, backed by a 165Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input. The panel supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and achieves a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, with Always-On Display functionality also available. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and does not include a secondary screen.

The Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a 3nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at 2 x 3.8 GHz and 6 x 3.32 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 4800 MHz and 1024GB of internal storage. The Adreno 840 GPU runs at 1200 MHz, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3, with 3 execution units and integrated graphics capable of driving one display, while maximum memory bandwidth reaches 84.8 GB/s across 2 memory channels with a maximum supported memory amount of 24GB. The chip includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone security, 64-bit support, and multithreading, with Geekbench 6 scores of 10,800 multi-core and 3,600 single-core.

The Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro features a triple rear camera system with three 50MP sensors at apertures of f/1.6, f/2.0, and f/2.4, supported by optical image stabilization, 3x optical zoom, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording. The rear cameras use BSI CMOS sensors, record video up to 4320p at 30fps, and offer a broad manual control set including exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and focus, along with RAW capture, HDR mode, burst mode, slow-motion video, panorama, and timelapse. A dual-tone LED flash with 2 LEDs is present on the rear, while the front camera offers a single 50MP sensor at f/2.0 without a front-facing flash or a secondary front lens. Laser autofocus, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, an under-display front camera, RGB flash, and 3D photo or video capture are not supported.

The device runs on Android 16, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user access, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Privacy controls cover clipboard warnings, location options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. Customization options extend to theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and extra dim mode, while productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, notification permissions, sharing intents, widgets, app offloading, Live Text, and the ability to play games during downloads. The OS also includes a battery health check and a child lock, but does not offer focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, direct OS vendor updates, or the ability to function as a PC, and Quick Start is not available.

The Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro houses a 5200 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator and supports wired fast charging at 90W. Wireless charging is available at 50W, and the device also offers reverse wireless charging at 10W, allowing it to charge other devices wirelessly. The battery is not removable.

The Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro includes stereo speakers and three microphones, but does not have a 3.5mm headset jack or a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX, aptX HD, aptX Lossless, and LDAC, covering a broad range of high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs, though aptX Adaptive is not available.

Navigation is handled through GPS, Galileo, a gyroscope, a compass, and an accelerometer, while a fingerprint scanner is present for biometric authentication. The device does not include 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, a barometer, an infrared sensor, HDMI output, DLNA certification, ANT+ support, a heart rate monitor, a built-in projector, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion tracking, optical tracking, or a stylus.

The Motorola Moto X70 Air Pro includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device does not feature sapphire glass or an e-paper display.
