Motorola Signature

The Motorola Signature has a slim profile measuring 162.1 mm tall, 76.4 mm wide, and just 7 mm thick, with a total volume of 86.69 cm³ and a weight of 186 g. It carries an IP69 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof with a depth tolerance of up to 1.2 meters. The device does not feature a rugged build and is not a folding handset.

The Motorola Signature features a 6.8″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 px and a pixel density of 446 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image across its large panel. The display runs at a 165Hz refresh rate with a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and it is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for broad high dynamic range compatibility, and includes an Always-On Display mode. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Motorola Signature is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a 3nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at 2 x 3.8 GHz and 6 x 3.32 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, and it scores 3600 single-core and 10800 multi-core on Geekbench 6. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 840 GPU, which operates at 1200 MHz, features 3 execution units, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3, and drives a single display. The device comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4800 MHz across 2 memory channels, a maximum memory capacity of 24GB, a peak memory bandwidth of 84.8 GB/s, and 1000GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage. Additional silicon-level features include integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, 64-bit support, and multithreading.

The Motorola Signature has a triple rear camera system, each lens resolving at 50MP, capable of recording video at up to 4320 x 30 fps with HDR10 support, continuous autofocus, and slow-motion recording. The rear setup includes 3x optical zoom, laser autofocus, touch autofocus, a dual-tone LED flash, and a range of manual controls covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, along with burst mode and in-camera panorama; it does not support manual shutter speed, 360° panorama, RAW capture, or 3D photo and video. Optical image stabilization is not present on the main camera. The single-lens front camera shoots at 50MP with an f/2 aperture, but lacks a front-facing flash, and is not positioned under the display.

The Motorola Signature runs Android 16, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. On the personalization side, the OS offers theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, a media picker, full-page screenshots, Live Text, and app offloading. On-device machine learning is supported, as are offline voice recognition, voice commands, a child lock, battery health monitoring, and device position tracking; however, focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are not included.

The Motorola Signature houses a rechargeable 5200 mAh battery with a visible charge level indicator, and it supports 90W wired fast charging alongside 50W wireless charging for flexible top-up options. It also features reverse wireless charging at 10W, allowing the device to share power with other compatible accessories. The battery is not removable, and no charger is included in the box.

The Motorola Signature includes stereo speakers and a single microphone, but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options are supported, meaning aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Motorola Signature supports 5G cellular connectivity and covers Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E, and Wi-Fi 7, with download speeds reaching 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds of 3,500 Mbits/s. It accommodates two physical SIM cards plus one eSIM, and connects via USB Type-C with USB 3.1, while NFC and Bluetooth 6 round out the short-range wireless options. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, and a fingerprint scanner, though there is no barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, or iris scanner, and 3D facial recognition is not available. There is no external memory slot, HDMI output, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, motion or optical tracking, built-in projector, or included stylus.

The Motorola Signature includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
