The Noise Air Buds 6 follow a true wireless, in-ear design with no cables or neckband connecting the two earbuds. They carry an IPX5 ingress protection rating, meaning they are water resistant and can handle splashes without issue. The earbuds feature stereo speakers but do not include wingtips for additional ear stability. There is no RGB lighting, UV light, or display present on the device.
The Noise Air Buds 6 support both active noise cancellation (ANC) and passive noise reduction, giving them two layers of sound isolation during use. Audio is handled by a 12.4 mm driver unit covering a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20000 Hz. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo processing.
The Noise Air Buds 6 are equipped with a rechargeable battery that delivers 8 hours of battery life per charge, while the included charging case extends the total available playback to 42 hours. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is present to help users keep track of remaining power. The earbuds do not support wireless charging or solar charging.
The Noise Air Buds 6 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3, with a maximum range of 10 meters and a reported audio latency of 50 ms. Fast pairing is supported, and the charging case uses a USB Type-C port. NFC pairing is not available, nor is AAC codec support, and the earbuds do not include any aptX variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice. Additionally, LDAC, LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, and Auracast are not supported.
The Noise Air Buds 6 include an ambient sound mode for situational awareness, a mute function, and voice prompts to assist with everyday use. They can function as a headset, and controls are handled through a panel placed directly on the earbuds rather than an in-line remote. Fast charging is supported, and a travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds do not offer in/on-ear detection, a find device feature, notification readout, a temperature sensor, or a built-in camera remote.
The Noise Air Buds 6 are fitted with a noise-canceling microphone, which works to reduce unwanted background sound during calls or voice input.
