The Noise Buds Nero use an in-ear fit and operate as true wireless earbuds, meaning there are no cables or wires involved. They carry an IPX5 ingress protection rating, classifying them as water resistant against low-pressure water jets from any direction. The earbuds feature stereo speakers for two-channel audio output. They do not include wingtips, a neckband design, RGB lighting, a UV light, or any built-in display.
The Noise Buds Nero are equipped with a 10 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. They rely on passive noise reduction to attenuate ambient sound rather than active noise cancellation, which is not supported. The earbuds do not include a neodymium magnet, and there is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo audio processing.
The Noise Buds Nero house a rechargeable battery that delivers up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, while the included charging case extends the total available battery life to 37 hours. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is on hand to help track remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The Noise Buds Nero connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 meters and an audio latency of 40 ms. USB Type-C is available for wired charging. The earbuds do not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, or any aptX codec variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice. AAC, LDAC, LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, and Auracast are likewise absent.
The Noise Buds Nero support fast charging and can be used as a headset, with controls managed through a panel placed on the device rather than an in-line cable control. A mute function is available, and voice prompts provide audio feedback during use. A travel bag is included in the package, and the earbuds come with a one-year warranty. Features not present include ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, a find device function, notification reading, a body temperature sensor, and a built-in camera remote shutter.
The Noise Buds Nero feature a quad-microphone setup, incorporating four microphones in total.
