The Noise Buds Trance 2 adopt an in-ear fit and operate as fully true wireless earbuds, meaning there are no cables or neckband connecting the two units. They carry an IPX5 ingress protection rating, classifying them as water resistant and capable of handling splashes and sweat. The earbuds deliver stereo sound through two independent drivers, one in each bud. There are no wingtips included for additional ear stability, and the design omits RGB lighting, a UV light, and any on-unit display.
The Noise Buds Trance 2 use a 6 mm driver unit and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the full standard audible spectrum. While the earbuds do not feature active noise cancellation, they do provide passive noise reduction through their in-ear design, which helps block out ambient sound physically. There is no support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo processing, and the drivers do not use a neodymium magnet.
The Noise Buds Trance 2 are equipped with a rechargeable battery that delivers 8 hours of playback per charge, while the accompanying charging case extends the total available battery to 37 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds include a battery level indicator so users can keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery charging are not supported.
The Noise Buds Trance 2 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 m and an audio latency of 40 ms. The charging case uses a USB Type-C port for wired charging. Fast pairing, NFC pairing, and Auracast are not supported, nor is Bluetooth LE Audio. On the codec side, the earbuds do not include AAC, LDAC, LDHC, or any variant of aptX, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice.
The Noise Buds Trance 2 support fast charging and can function as a headset for calls, with a mute function and voice prompts available during use. Controls are placed on the device itself rather than an in-line panel, and a travel bag is included in the box. The earbuds come with a 1-year warranty. Features not present include ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection for auto-pause, a find device function, notification readout, a body temperature sensor, and a built-in camera remote shutter.
The Noise Buds Trance 2 feature a quad-microphone setup with noise-canceling microphone capability, helping to reduce background noise during calls and voice input.
