The Nu Republic Cyberstud X7 are true wireless in-ear earbuds with no cables or neckband, offering a clean and minimal form factor. They carry a sweat-resistant rating, making them suitable for light physical activity. The earbuds feature RGB lighting and stereo speakers, while wingtips, a display, and UV light are not included.
The Cyberstud X7 use a 13 mm driver unit backed by a neodymium magnet and cover a standard frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Passive noise reduction is included to help block ambient sound, though active noise cancellation is not supported. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are also absent from this model.
The Cyberstud X7 offer 7 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case extending total playback to 63 hours. The rechargeable battery takes 1.5 hours to fully charge, and a battery level indicator is on hand to track remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery charging are not supported.
The Cyberstud X7 connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with a maximum range of 10 m and an audio latency of 40 ms. USB Type-C is available for wired charging, though fast pairing and NFC pairing are not supported. On the codec side, the earbuds do not include AAC, LDAC, LDHC, or any aptX variant — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, or aptX Voice — and Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast are likewise absent.
The Cyberstud X7 support fast charging and can function as a headset, with a mute function, voice prompts, and a control panel placed on the device itself for straightforward operation. A travel bag is included in the box. In-line controls, in-ear detection, ambient sound mode, notification readout, a find-device feature, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote are not part of the feature set.
The Cyberstud X7 are equipped with a 4-microphone array that includes noise cancellation, helping to reduce background sound during calls and voice interactions.
