The NuPhy Air60 V2 is a compact 60% mechanical keyboard with a low-profile build, measuring 297.3 mm wide, 107.2 mm deep, and 13.5 mm thick at a weight of 463 g. It supports tri-mode connectivity through USB, Bluetooth 5.1, and 2.4GHz wireless, covering both wired and wireless use across different devices, and includes a detachable cable for added convenience. Wireless operation is backed by a battery life rated at 150 hours, and the board polls at 1000 Hz in all modes. It is designed with Mac compatibility alongside standard use, carries a one-year warranty, and the low-profile form factor keeps the overall footprint compact and easy to position on a desk.
The NuPhy Air60 V2 is built with a plastic and aluminum case and is available in black, white, and gray. Full RGB backlighting covers the entire layout, and the typing angle can be adjusted using the built-in feet. No wrist rest is included with the keyboard.
The NuPhy Air60 V2 comes fitted with NuPhy Aloe mechanical switches, which offer a linear feel with a smooth, uninterrupted keystroke from top to bottom. They actuate at 37 g of force and have a total travel distance of 3.2 mm, in line with low-profile mechanical switch specifications. The board is fully hot-swappable, so switches can be pulled and replaced without any soldering, making it easy to change the feel of the board at any point.
The NuPhy Air60 V2 supports QMK and VIA for firmware-level customization, allowing users to remap keys and configure the board's behavior through well-established open tools, though ZMK is not available on this model. Full N-key rollover is included, ensuring all simultaneous keypresses are registered without ghosting. The board does not support analog input, rapid trigger, dual actuation, or adjustable actuation, and there is no USB passthrough or onboard display.
The NuPhy Air60 V2 follows an ANSI US layout with a fully standard key arrangement, keeping aftermarket keycap compatibility broad and straightforward. The included keycaps are PBT double-shot in a DSA profile, which uses a uniform flat shape across all rows with legends that are molded into the keycap rather than printed on the surface. Media functions are accessible through the Fn key rather than dedicated keys, which is consistent with the board's compact 60% footprint. There is no rotary dial on this model.
