A standout aspect of its construction is the IP69 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as fully waterproof and capable of withstanding high-pressure water exposure. While the device does not feature a rugged build in the traditional sense, its water resistance credentials offer meaningful protection in everyday environments.

The OnePlus 13 features a 6.82″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and a pixel density of 510 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1600 nits. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide-format content compatibility, and includes an Always-On Display mode. The screen is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, and there is no secondary screen on the device.

The OnePlus 13 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. It is paired with 24 GB of DDR5 RAM at 5300 MHz, a maximum memory bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s across 2 memory channels, and 1024 GB of internal storage. The Adreno 830 GPU operates at a clock speed of 1100 MHz with 1536 shading units and supports up to 2 displays, DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3. Cache configuration includes 192 KB of L1, 12 MB of L2, and 8 MB of L3, while the SoC carries a TDP of 8.2W and integrates LTE. The chip supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, TrustZone security, and ECC memory. Benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 2,905,105, Geekbench 6 single-core of 3,234 and multi-core of 10,059, 3DMark Wild Life of 17,089, 3DMark Wild Life Extreme of 6,357, 3DMark Steel Nomad of 2,374, PCMark Work 3.0 performance of 17,387, and a PCMark Work 3.0 battery result of 840 minutes.

The OnePlus 13 features a triple rear camera system, each lens resolving at 50 MP with apertures of f/1.6, f/2.6, and f/2.0, backed by a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and 3x optical zoom. Autofocus options cover phase detection, laser, and touch autofocus, along with continuous autofocus during video recording. The main camera supports video capture at 4320 x 30 fps with HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording, as well as slow-motion video. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available. Additional shooting modes include burst, panorama, timelapse, HDR, and RAW capture, while 360-degree panorama and 3D recording are not supported. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The front camera offers a 32 MP single-lens setup at f/2.4, positioned on the display bezel rather than under the screen, and does not include a front-facing flash.

The OnePlus 13 runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. App tracking can be blocked, and on-device machine learning is supported. On the customization side, the OS offers theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports widgets, app offloading, a child lock, multi-user accounts, Live Text, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Wi-Fi password sharing and the ability to use the phone as a PC are not included, and OS updates do not come directly from the vendor.

The OnePlus 13 houses a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that is non-removable and supports fast wired charging at 100W. Wireless charging is available at 50W, and the device can also act as a reverse wireless charger at 10W for other compatible devices. A charger is included in the box. Additional battery-related features include a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode, which reduces the interface to a minimal black-and-white screen to extend runtime.

The OnePlus 13 includes stereo speakers and supports LDAC, aptX, and aptX HD for high-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The OnePlus 13 supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with download speeds reaching 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds of 3,500 Mbits/s. Wi-Fi coverage spans Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7 (802.11n/ac/ax/be), and Bluetooth 5.4 is on board alongside NFC. The OnePlus 13 features a curved display and includes a video light, while the screen uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
