The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, backed by branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. The panel runs at a 165Hz refresh rate with a 330Hz touch sampling rate, and delivers a typical brightness of 800 nits with full support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Always-On Display is available, and there is no secondary screen. The display does not support cross-site tracking blocking at the screen level, though all standard interactive touch features are present.

The OnePlus 15 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 3 nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at 2 x 4.6 GHz and 6 x 3.62 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP architecture, paired with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM at 5300 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage. The Adreno 830 GPU clocks at 1200 MHz, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3, with 1536 shading units and the ability to drive up to 2 displays simultaneously. Memory throughput reaches a maximum bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s across 2 channels, with an L1 cache of 192 KB, L2 of 12 MB, and L3 of 8 MB, while the maximum supported memory amount is 24 GB with ECC support. The chipset includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, multithreading, and operates within a thermal design power of 8.2W. Benchmark results stand at an AnTuTu score of 3,434,000, a Geekbench 6 multi-core score of 11,199, and a single-core score of 3,726.

The OnePlus 15 features a triple rear camera system with three 50 MP CMOS sensors and apertures of f/1.8, f/2.0, and f/2.8, covering a focal range from 16 mm to 85 mm with 3.5x optical zoom and built-in optical image stabilization. Autofocus options include phase-detection, laser, and touch AF, along with continuous autofocus during video recording, while manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed is not available. The OnePlus 15 runs Android 16, a free and open-source operating system that supports multi-user access, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Privacy tooling covers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, a media picker, widgets, sharing intents, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, and the ability to offload apps. Games can be played while downloading, battery health monitoring is available, a child lock is present, and device position tracking is supported. Features not present include Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC; OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The OnePlus 15 houses a rechargeable 7300 mAh battery that is non-removable and includes a battery level indicator. Wired fast charging tops out at 120W, while wireless charging is supported at 50W, and reverse wireless charging is available at 10W — all with a charger included in the box.

The OnePlus 15 includes stereo speakers and supports aptX HD and aptX Adaptive Bluetooth audio codecs, though aptX (standard), aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The OnePlus 15 supports 5G and accommodates two SIM cards, with wireless connectivity spanning Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7 alongside Bluetooth 6. The OnePlus 15 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
