OnePlus Ace 3

The device does not feature a rugged build and carries no water resistance rating. It is a conventional slab-style smartphone with no foldable mechanism.

The OnePlus Ace 3 features a 6.78-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 pixels, delivering a pixel density of 450 ppi and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion. The panel reaches a typical brightness of 1600 nits and supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide dynamic range content, while Always-On Display is also available. Surface protection is handled by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and there is no secondary screen on the device.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 4nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 3.36GHz turbo clock speed across a big.LITTLE core layout (1 x 3.2, 4 x 2.8, and 3 x 2 GHz), paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 4200 MHz and 1024GB of internal storage. The Adreno 740 GPU operates at 970 MHz, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.3, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, and delivers 13,351 in the 3DMark Wild Life benchmark and 3,672 in Wild Life Extreme, with a 3DMark Steel Nomad score of 1,086. The platform records an AnTuTu score of 1,743,400 and a Geekbench 6 single-core result of 2,027, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 64 GB/s, a TDP of 6.3W, 1MB of L2 cache, 8MB of L3 cache, integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit and multithreading support.

The rear camera system consists of three lenses — a 50MP main sensor at f/1.8, an 8MP lens at f/2.2, and a 2MP lens at f/2.4 — with optical image stabilization, a CMOS sensor, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though there is no BSI sensor, laser autofocus, or optical zoom. Video capture reaches 4K at 60fps, and the system also supports slow-motion recording, HDR mode, timelapse, burst mode, panorama, and manual controls for exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while RAW shooting and manual shutter speed are not available. The single-lens 16MP front camera sits at f/2.4, is not under-display mounted, and has no front-facing flash.

The device runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. Usability features include dark mode, extra dim mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permissions, a media picker, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download, while focus modes, app offloading, and Quick Start are absent. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands, alongside multi-user support, phone tracking, a child lock, and a battery health check, though it does not receive direct OS vendor updates and cannot be used as a PC.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, while wireless charging is not supported and the battery is not removable.

The OnePlus Ace 3 includes stereo speakers and two microphones, with Bluetooth audio codec support covering aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC for high-quality wireless audio transmission, while aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless are not supported. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The OnePlus Ace 3 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) alongside Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC, with a dual-SIM configuration and cellular module, while download speeds reach up to 10,000 Mbits/s and upload up to 3,000 Mbits/s. The device connects via USB Type-C (USB 2.0) and has no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. Sensors include a fingerprint scanner, GPS with Galileo support, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and infrared sensor, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, satellite SOS, crash detection, ANT+, 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, motion tracking, optical tracking, and built-in projector are all absent.

The OnePlus Ace 3 features a curved display and includes a video light for recording, while it does not use sapphire glass and has no e-paper display.
