It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 800 nits, while supporting HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for broad high dynamic range compatibility. Always-On Display is available, though the device has no secondary screen and does not use branded damage-resistant glass.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 3 nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, paired with the Adreno 830 GPU clocked at 1100 MHz with 1536 shading units and support for up to 2 displays. The SoC integrates LTE, TrustZone security, 64-bit support, and graphics APIs including DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3. Wireless charging is not available, but the device does provide a battery level indicator. Charging speed and capacity are its primary strengths in this area.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro includes stereo speakers and three microphones, but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX and aptX HD, though LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not available.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro supports 5G and accommodates two SIM cards, with cellular connectivity complemented by Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
