The OnePlus Ace 6 measures 163.4 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and 8.3 mm thick, with a total volume of 104.43 cm³ and a weight of 213 g. It is not a folding device and does not feature a rugged build, but it does carry a strong IP69 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof with a depth rating of 1.5 metres.

The OnePlus Ace 6 features a 6.83″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1272 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, backed by a 165Hz refresh rate for fluid on-screen motion. Typical brightness sits at 800 nits, and the display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, making it compatible with a wide range of high-dynamic-range content, and an Always-On Display mode is available for at-a-glance information. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The OnePlus Ace 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-chip, built on a 3 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration of 2 cores at 4.32 GHz and 6 cores at 3.53 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE architecture, HMP, multithreading, and 8 threads in total — with a TDP of 8.2W. It comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5300 MHz across 2 memory channels, a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB, and 256 GB of internal storage. The Adreno 830 GPU operates at 1100 MHz (turbo: 1100 MHz) with 1536 shading units and support for up to 2 displays, DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3. Maximum memory bandwidth reaches 85.1 GB/s, and the chip includes ECC memory support, TrustZone security, integrated LTE, and integrated graphics. Cache configuration spans 192 KB L1, 12 MB L2, and 8 MB L3, and the SoC is fully 64-bit compatible. Geekbench 6 results stand at 3234 single-core and 10059 multi-core.

The OnePlus Ace 6 features a dual-lens rear camera system with sensors at 50 MP and 8 MP, paired with apertures of f/2.2 and f/1.8 respectively, a focal length range of 16 mm to 24 mm, and a CMOS sensor with optical image stabilization. It records video at up to 2160p at 30 fps with support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording, continuous autofocus during video, and slow-motion capture. For photos, it offers phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, burst mode, HDR, panorama, and timelapse, along with manual controls for exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, plus the ability to shoot in RAW format — though manual shutter speed, laser autofocus, and 360° panorama are not available. The rear flash consists of 2 LEDs, but there is no dual-tone or RGB flash. There is no back-illuminated sensor and no optical zoom. The 16 MP front camera has an aperture of f/2.4 and is a single-lens unit without an under-display placement, front-facing flash, or its own dual-lens arrangement, and it does not support 3D photo or video recording.

The OnePlus Ace 6 runs Android 16, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The OS offers broad customisation through theme customisation, dynamic theming, dark mode, and extra dim mode, alongside notification permissions and customisable notifications. Productivity is further aided by a media picker, full-page screenshots, Live Text, app offloading, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, battery health check, and device tracking. However, focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, direct OS vendor updates, and Quick Start are not supported, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The OnePlus Ace 6 houses a 7800 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator. It supports fast wired charging at 120W as well as wireless charging at 18W, and a charger is included in the box. Reverse wireless charging is not available.

The OnePlus Ace 6 includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX HD and aptX Adaptive, though standard aptX, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The OnePlus Ace 6 offers a broad connectivity suite, including 5G, Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS with Galileo support. It accommodates two SIM cards and uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, but has no external memory slot and no HDMI output. Download speeds reach up to 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 3,500 Mbits/s. On-board sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, infrared sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, iris scanner, and motion and optical tracking are absent. The device does not support ANT+, DLNA, 3D facial recognition, satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, and does not include a stylus or built-in projector.

The OnePlus Ace 6 includes a video light for use during video recording, but its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
