OnePlus Ace 6

The OnePlus Ace 6 has a non-folding, non-rugged form factor measuring 163.4 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and 8.3 mm thick, with a total volume of 104.43 cm³ and a weight of 213 g. One of its more notable physical attributes is its IP69 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as waterproof and certifies it to withstand submersion to a depth of 1.5 m.

The OnePlus Ace 6 features a 6.83″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1272 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, backed by branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. The display runs at a 165Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 800 nits, with Always-On Display support keeping glanceable information visible at all times. It covers a broad range of HDR standards, supporting HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen on this device.

The OnePlus Ace 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-chip, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE architecture and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing. The SoC includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and an Adreno 830 GPU clocked at 1100 MHz with 1536 shading units, DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3 support across up to 2 displays. The device ships with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5300 MHz across 2 memory channels, a maximum memory ceiling of 24 GB, ECC memory support, and a maximum bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s, alongside 1024 GB of internal storage. Cache is arranged as 192 KB L1, 12 MB L2, and 8 MB L3, and the chip carries a thermal design power of 8.2W. Geekbench 6 results stand at 3234 single-core and 10059 multi-core, with the platform also supporting 64-bit processing and multithreading throughout.

The OnePlus Ace 6 uses a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/2.2 and an 8 MP sensor at f/1.8, with a CMOS sensor type, optical image stabilization, and a focal length range of 16 mm to 24 mm. Autofocus is handled through phase detection and touch AF with continuous autofocus during video, though laser autofocus is not present, and there is no optical zoom. The main camera records video at 2160 x 30 fps with HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording support, as well as slow-motion capture, while 3D recording and 360-degree panoramas are not available. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is absent, and additional shooting modes include burst, in-camera panorama, timelapse, HDR, and RAW capture. Flash is provided by two LED units that are neither dual-tone nor RGB. The OnePlus Ace 6 runs Android 16, an open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, extra dim mode, and customizable notifications with notification permission controls, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Multitasking is covered through split-screen support, Picture-in-Picture, and the ability to play games during downloads, and users can also take full-page scrolling screenshots, use a media picker, select text from images, and share content via sharing intents. App management includes the option to offload apps and a child lock, and the OS includes a battery health check tool. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and the device cannot function as a PC nor does it offer a Quick Start setup feature.

The OnePlus Ace 6 houses a rechargeable 7800 mAh battery that is non-removable and comes with a charger included in the box. It supports fast wired charging at 120W as well as wireless charging at 18W, though reverse wireless charging is not available. A battery level indicator is present, keeping the user informed of remaining charge at a glance.

The OnePlus Ace 6 features stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and has no built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX HD and aptX Adaptive, while standard aptX, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The OnePlus Ace 6 includes a cellular module with 5G support and dual SIM capability, along with download speeds of up to 10000 MBits/s and upload speeds of up to 3500 MBits/s. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7 as well as Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, though ANT+, DLNA certification, and HDMI output are absent. The device connects via USB Type-C running USB 2.0, and there is no external memory slot. Onboard sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, infrared sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, iris scanner, 3D facial recognition, motion tracking, and optical tracking are not present. Satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, a stylus, and a built-in projector are likewise not featured.

The OnePlus Ace 6 includes a video light for illuminating footage during recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
