The OnePlus Nord 4 features a 6.74″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, producing a sharp and detailed image across its single panel — there is no secondary screen. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input, and reaches a typical brightness of 1100 nits. The display supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ for compatible content, while Always-On Display is available for at-a-glance information; Dolby Vision is not supported. The screen does not use branded damage-resistant glass.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3, a 4 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration running at up to 2.8 GHz across 8 threads using big.LITTLE technology, paired with an Adreno 732 GPU clocked at 950 MHz and 768 shading units. The device comes with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4200 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 64 GB/s. It supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0, with a rated TDP of 6W. In benchmarks, it scores 1,315,847 on AnTuTu, 5098 (multi) and 1913 (single) on Geekbench 6, 13,680 on PCMark Work 3.0 with a battery endurance result of 992 minutes, and 979 on the 3DMark Steel Nomad test.

The OnePlus Nord 4 has a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/1.8 and an 8 MP sensor at f/2.2, both supported by a CMOS sensor type, optical image stabilization, and phase-detection autofocus for stills alongside continuous autofocus during video recording. The main camera records video at up to 2160p at 60 fps, supports slow-motion capture, and offers a broad manual control set including exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not available; it does not shoot in RAW format and offers no optical zoom. A dual-tone LED flash with two LEDs is present on the rear, while the front-facing 16 MP single-lens camera at f/2.4 has no LED flash and is not placed under the display. On the customization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, a child lock, battery health monitoring, an extra dim mode, and device tracking, and it is free and open source. OS updates are not delivered directly by the vendor, and Quick Start and Wi-Fi password sharing are not supported.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator, giving users a clear read of remaining charge at a glance.

The OnePlus Nord 4 includes stereo speakers for dual-channel audio output and supports both aptX and aptX HD Bluetooth codecs for higher-quality wireless audio, while aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. The device does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and there is no built-in FM radio.

The OnePlus Nord 4 includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
