OnePlus Nord CE4

It holds an IP54 ingress protection rating, meaning it can handle splashes and dust exposure in everyday situations, though it does not carry a rugged-build designation. With a total volume of 102.7845 cm³, the handset maintains a standard smartphone footprint without any reinforced or hardened construction.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 features a 6.7″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 px and a pixel density of 394 ppi, producing a sharp and vibrant visual experience. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 900 nits. The display supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ content and includes an Always-On Display mode, though it does not support Dolby Vision and lacks a secondary screen. Branded damage-resistant glass is not part of the display's construction.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with a thermal design power of 6W and a CPU configuration of 1 x 2.63 GHz, 3 x 2.4 GHz, and 4 x 1.8 GHz cores using big.LITTLE technology with multithreading support. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 720 GPU running at 950 MHz, with support for DirectX 12 and OpenGL ES 3.2, and a 3DMark Steel Nomad score of 485. The device comes with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM at 3200 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 16 GB — alongside 256 GB of internal storage and support for up to 1024 GB of external memory. A maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s, integrated LTE, 64-bit support, and ARM TrustZone security round out the platform's core capabilities.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 uses a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/2.2 and an 8 MP sensor at f/1.8, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. Optical image stabilization is built in, and autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is absent. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps with continuous autofocus during recording, while slow-motion video and timelapse are also supported; HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed is not included, and the camera does not shoot in RAW format. Two LED flash units are present, though they do not form a dual-tone or RGB configuration, and no front-facing flash is available. The 16 MP single-lens front camera sits in a standard position — not under the display — and features an f/1.0 aperture. Additional shooting modes include burst, panorama, and HDR, while 360-degree panorama and 3D photo or video capture are not supported.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they are downloading. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, child lock, battery health check, extra dim mode, and device tracking. OS updates do not come directly from the vendor, Wi-Fi password sharing is absent, and Quick Start is not supported.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 houses a 5500 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator, and while it is not removable, it supports 100W wired fast charging with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The combination of a large capacity and high charging speed means the battery can be replenished quickly when needed.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 features stereo speakers and supports a solid range of Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC, though aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired audio relies on the USB-C port. A built-in radio is also absent.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 supports 5G connectivity alongside dual SIM functionality, Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6, and Bluetooth 5.4, with download speeds reaching up to 5000 Mbits/s and upload speeds of 160 Mbits/s. It connects via USB Type-C with USB 2.0 and includes an external memory slot, NFC, GPS with Galileo support, an infrared sensor, a fingerprint scanner, and sensors covering a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass. Biometric options do not extend to 3D facial recognition or an iris scanner, and there is no HDMI output, barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, or built-in projector. Emergency SOS via satellite, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a stylus are likewise absent.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
