Oppo A3x 4G

The Oppo A3x 4G has a non-folding, standard smartphone form factor measuring 165.8 mm tall, 76.1 mm wide, and just 7.7 mm thick, with a total volume of around 97.15 cm³ and a weight of 186 g. It carries an IP54 ingress protection rating, meaning it offers a degree of resistance to dust and water splashes, though it does not feature a rugged build designed for harsher environments.

The Oppo A3x 4G features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi, paired with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for relatively responsive input. Brightness reaches a typical 1000 nits, providing solid visibility in well-lit conditions. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality, nor does the device have a secondary screen.

The Oppo A3x 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a 4 nm octa-core SoC running eight threads at up to 4 x 2.2 GHz and 4 x 1.8 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, and a 7W TDP. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 710 GPU clocked at 800 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with 128 shading units. The chipset also includes integrated LTE and ARM TrustZone security. The device comes with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 2750 MHz across two memory channels, delivering a maximum bandwidth of 22 GB/s, and supports up to 12 GB total memory. Storage stands at 256 GB via eMMC 5.1, while the cache hierarchy consists of 256 KB L1, 2 MB L2, and 2 MB L3. In benchmarks, the SoC scores 253,200 on AnTuTu and achieves 943 single-core and 2,748 multi-core on Geekbench 6. The platform is fully 64-bit compatible.

The Oppo A3x 4G has a single-lens rear camera with an 8 MP CMOS sensor and an f/2.0 aperture, supporting phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization and laser autofocus are absent. It records video at 1080p/30 fps with slow-motion capability, but does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, HDR, and in-camera panoramas are also available; raw capture and manual shutter speed are not supported. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. On the front, there is a 5 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture, no front-facing flash, and no under-display placement. Neither camera supports 3D capture or 360-degree panoramas.

The Oppo A3x 4G runs Android 14 and comes with a broad set of software features covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy controls, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not included. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, customizable notifications, and an extra dim mode for low-light comfort. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, live text selection from images, and the ability to play games while they download. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, child lock, battery health check, and phone tracking. However, it does not offer focus modes, app offloading, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, direct OS vendor updates, or the ability to function as a PC.

The Oppo A3x 4G is equipped with a 5100 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low.

The Oppo A3x 4G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio, but relies on a single speaker rather than a stereo setup. On the wireless audio side, it does not support any high-quality Bluetooth codec — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. There is also no built-in radio.

The Oppo A3x 4G supports 4G LTE cellular connectivity with a dual-SIM configuration, but does not include 5G. It connects via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0, while NFC is not present. The USB Type-C port runs on USB 2.0, and there is no HDMI output. Cellular speeds reach up to 2900 Mbits/s download and 900 Mbits/s upload. An external memory slot is available for storage expansion. For location, the device includes GPS with Galileo support alongside a compass and accelerometer, though a gyroscope, barometer, and motion or optical tracking are absent. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no 3D facial recognition or iris scanner on board. Features such as satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, ANT+, heart rate monitoring, infrared sensor, DLNA certification, built-in projector, and a stylus are not included.

The Oppo A3x 4G includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
