The Oppo A5 4G features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi, paired with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother everyday scrolling. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, offering a degree of resistance against scratches and accidental drops. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Oppo A5 4G is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset built on a 4 nm process, featuring an octa-core CPU arranged in a big.LITTLE configuration with four cores at 2.2 GHz and four at 1.8 GHz across 8 threads, with HMP support and a TDP of 7W. Graphics are handled by an integrated Adreno 710 GPU clocked at 800 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with 128 shading units.
