Oppo A6 GT

The Oppo A6 GT has a conventional, non-folding form factor with dimensions of 163.1 x 77.6 x 7.7 mm and a total volume of approximately 97.46 cm³, weighing in at 198 g. It carries a full IP68 ingress protection rating, confirming it is waterproof and can withstand submersion at depths of up to 1.5 meters. The device does not feature a rugged build designation, sitting instead in the standard consumer smartphone category.

The Oppo A6 GT features a 6.8-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, delivering a detailed and sharp image across its large panel. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 600 nits, while the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 for everyday scratch and impact resistance. The panel does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen present.

The Oppo A6 GT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with a TDP of 6W and a CPU configuration of 1 x 2.63 GHz, 3 x 2.4 GHz, and 4 x 1.8 GHz cores using big.LITTLE technology alongside multithreading support. Graphics are handled by an integrated Adreno 720 GPU running at 950 MHz, with DirectX 12 and OpenGL ES 3.2 compatibility. The chip includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone security, and supports 64-bit processing. Memory consists of 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 3200 MHz with a maximum bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s and a supported ceiling of 16 GB, while onboard storage stands at 512 GB.

The Oppo A6 GT uses a dual-lens rear camera system with a 50 MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. The main camera supports optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. Video capture reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording also supported, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is absent; additional shooting modes cover burst, panorama, and timelapse, but RAW capture and 360-degree panorama are not supported. A single LED flash is included at the rear — without dual-tone or RGB capability — while the front has no flash. The 32 MP front camera shoots at f/2.4, is a single-lens setup, and is not positioned under the display.

The Oppo A6 GT runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy and usability features. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. The OS supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Productivity is covered through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. It also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, widgets, app offloading, a child lock, multi-user accounts, phone tracking, and a battery health check tool. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor, and the device cannot function as a PC nor does it include Quick Start.

The Oppo A6 GT houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in level indicator, supporting 80W fast charging for quick top-ups. The battery is non-removable, and the device does not offer wireless charging or reverse wireless charging.

The Oppo A6 GT includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports aptX HD, while standard aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The Oppo A6 GT supports 5G connectivity with a cellular module and accepts two SIM cards, while Wi-Fi covers versions 4, 5, and 6 (802.11n/ac/ax). Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are both present, and the device connects via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0. Download speeds reach up to 5000 Mbits/s with upload at 160 Mbits/s, though there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. The onboard sensors include a fingerprint scanner, GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, and ANT+ are absent. Security biometrics are limited to the fingerprint scanner — 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not featured — and the device includes no stylus, built-in projector, crash detection, satellite SOS, or any form of motion or optical tracking.

The Oppo A6 GT includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
