Oppo A60

The Oppo A60 has a non-folding, non-rugged form factor measuring 165.7 mm tall, 76 mm wide, and just 7.7 mm thick, with a total volume of roughly 96.97 cm³ and a weight of 186 g. It carries an IP54 rating, meaning it offers meaningful protection against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, though it is not designed for submersion or harsh environments.

The Oppo A60 uses a 6.67-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi. The panel runs at a 90 Hz refresh rate backed by a 240 Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input, and reaches a typical brightness of 950 nits. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, has no Always-On Display mode, no secondary screen, and does not feature branded damage-resistant glass.

The Oppo A60 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU running at 4 x 2.4 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, supported by 8 threads, NX bit, and TrustZone security. It pairs with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz across two memory channels with a maximum bandwidth of 14.9 GB/s, alongside 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 845 MHz with a turbo mode at 800 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chipset includes integrated LTE and supports 64-bit processing with a TDP of 6W. In benchmarks, the device scores 252,000 on AnTuTu, 1466 and 416 on Geekbench 6 multi and single-core respectively, 1550 and 385 on Geekbench 5 multi and single-core, 603 on 3DMark Wild Life, 7113 on PCMark Work 3.0 performance, and 822 minutes on the PCMark Work 3.0 battery test.

The Oppo A60 features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP main lens at f/1.8 and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, using a CMOS sensor measuring 7.38 x 5.54 mm with a minimum focal length of 26 mm and a maximum ISO of 6400. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent, and there is no optical image stabilization or optical zoom. The rear camera records video at up to 1080p at 30 fps with support for slow-motion recording, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed is not supported, and the camera also offers burst mode and in-camera panoramas but cannot shoot in RAW format or capture 360-degree panoramas. A single LED flash is present at the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. On the front, an 8 MP single-lens camera sits at f/2.0 without an under-display placement or a front-facing flash.

The Oppo A60 runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are absent. On the customization side, the OS supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and app offloading are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, multi-user accounts, a child lock, battery health check, and phone tracking, and it is free and open source. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and neither Wi-Fi password sharing nor Quick Start are available.

The Oppo A60 houses a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator included. It supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box, though wireless charging is not available.

The Oppo A60 covers the audio basics well, offering stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack alongside a built-in radio and two microphones. For Bluetooth audio, it supports aptX, though aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available.

The Oppo A60 is a 4G-only device with no 5G support, connecting wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. It accepts two SIM cards and features a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, along with an external memory slot for expandable storage. Cellular download speeds reach up to 390 Mbit/s with uploads up to 150 Mbit/s. Location capabilities include GPS with Galileo support and a digital compass, while sensors on board cover an accelerometer and a fingerprint scanner; a gyroscope, barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, iris scanner, and 3D facial recognition are all absent. The device does not include HDMI output, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion or optical tracking, a built-in projector, or a stylus.

The Oppo A60 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
